the hhh/mcmahon angle is just a build to his retirement most likely.

@luckysalt: yep its geared towards kids (pg era) but the quality of it has picked up even if it is predictable (for payback got 6/8 right with the ones not being the adr/ziggler double turn and cm punk wrestling).

i mean i find a bit of tna predictable - like slammiversary with the way an8's interfered but no one from tna did in the title match.

they still need to freshen stuff up though, keep it interesting.

thing with the mark henry troll was - why on earth would they show a promo for his return last week then him to that stuff on the tweets. could tell it was a work but anyway.

Can anyone think of the last double turn? I'm not really a fan of Ziggler or Del Rio but I'm actually excited by this, for now anyway.

Best RAW of the year by far, despite Bryan-Orton being pulled early. Bryan is insanely over, question is do they pull the trigger now at MITB or wait until next year (Rumble perhaps)?

What's the inside gossip on Orton turning?I thought he was desperate to go heel so I thought they were sowing the seeds at Payback with him pushing Bryan into the spear.

Can't wait to see Ziggler as a face & hopefully go solo and become a major player.I say it all the time but for me he's the best worker around outside of Punk and is the next HBK.

I actually watched the start, I had to turn it off, it was cringeworthy. Everything is so predictable.

But on paper I can see why it seems it was a decent Raw. Too much Vickie by FAR though, she's played out 'excuse me' is so fucking annoying, why make her so one dimensional? The McMahons are adding nothing. HHH's character has been turned shit. So many faults I can find with the show. I still find when I watch it, its targeted towards stupid people or kids, which means I turn off.

RAW was good, actually one best of this year so far.

It surely beats any current impact and talking abvout predictable I loss intrest in TNA this year because the whole Aces and Eights angle has became so predictable, dragging and boring.

Started watching Impact last night, but the time move has made it difficult, only managed until 3am, was a good show what I saw, read the rest of what happened last night this morning and also read next weeks spoilers and well...

HUGE SPOILER

Hogan made a match for a 3 way x divison match the winner facing Bully at destination X despite Sabin already being told he was, anyway SUICIDE won the freaking title and was nameed number 1 contender, then Hogan came out and said the wrestler who is Suicide is TJ Perkins who he brought out with him and said he was attacked backstage and the winner is an imposter, it was revealed the winner was Austin Aires and he vacated the title and will face Bully at Destination X.

Hmmmm don't like it at all, they should have put the faith in Sabin and gave him the shot, its a free to view show on Spike Destination X and Sabin has been there for a long time. Hope Bully retains the title against Aires.

And first two members of MEM have been revealed

Kurt Angle this week

Joe next week.

For shame if no-one watched the Bully interview above, call yourself wrestling fans, its not even done in character its

just an honest take on the business today and his career and on other wrestlers and proves how smart Bully is.

Maybe this is more for suited for you guys :P

Matt Morgan is the latest name to leave TNA.

Its a shame, the guy has talent, great look, really athletic for his size, has been cutting fantastic promos. It just doesn't click together for him.

I wonder what the future holds for him, WWE would be stupid to not pick him up IMO, but I guess he's doomed to never win the world title

    • First time for me, really enjoyed it. Nice venue, nice weather, good vibes, etc.   Notes on performances: CMAT's a great performer - seen her live twice now.  GANS are my favourite new act since Big Special, and live they're fantastic. Fellow Brummies too, so I'm all about that. The album's a bit disappointing though. Primal Scream were great, although I felt the crowd seemed a bit muted. The Libertines sounded knackered. Not sure they're suited to a festival. First time seeing The Royston Club, thought they were very good - the tent seemed to be full of kids on each others shoulders singing along. I'm all about that. First time seeing the K's, a bit disappointed. Didn't like his voice, and I felt like every song sounded the same as the last one. Sarajevo is a good tune, though. It still sounds like all the others, just a bit better.  The Maccabees and Two Door Cinema club were a but underwhelming, but Pelican by the Maccabees is a banger. It all sounded a bit Travis/Early Coldplay to me though. The Wombats took me by surprise - I expected 1 1/2 hours of 'Let's Dance to Joy Division' style indie-landfill, so I was surprised to hear that some of the rest of their stuff had dynamics and range. I still don't think they're any good, but I can't say they didn't surprise me either. Just not my thing.   Surprise of the weekend for me was Rizzle Kicks. Never listened to them before, but they got me out of my tent and into the arena as I was trying to nurse a hangover and I thought it was a blast.    Will probably go next year too.
    • Not really anything to say other than the fact I'm down at Opeth and this has been a cracking summer by and large here. Few duds, plenty of sellouts, strong weather, and the craft beer is cheaper than the regular bar. Winner winner, chicken dinner!
    • Pink Floyd night on sky arts time for me  to wallow in nostalgia and remember some incredible gigs
