Here's something I never thought I'd see; New Jack as the lead picture of a WWE article;

http://www.wwe.com/classics/classic-lists/10-greatest-never-in-wwe

That article was a good read! Regardless of how Sting is now with TNA and how he never usually wrestles, i can still remember watching Nitro back when i was really young and have memories of him. He will always be one of my favourite wrestlers because of that and would jump at the chance to see him face off against the Undertaker. All be it the match would no doubt be Taker carrying it for 90% but it would be a dream match none the less.

So The BFG series is set, heres my thoughts on it, alongside the people in it.

From the spoilers I see we have the full list of 12 men in the BFG series now

Jay Bradley - won the Gut Check tournament
Hernandez - beat Chavo on 6/6 Impact
Somoa Joe - beat Robbie E on 6/6 Impact
Jeff Hardy - qualified as previous winner explained on 13/6 Impact
Bobby Roode - qualifiued as previous winner explained on 13/6 Impact
Magnus - beat Matt Morgan, Rob Terry & Kenny King on 13/6 Impact
Austin Aires - beat Eric Young on 13/6 Impact
Joesph Parks - beat Crimson on 13/6 Impact
AJ Styles - beat Kurt Angle on 13/6 Impact
Kaz - beat Storm/Gunner on 13/6 Impact
Daniels - beat Storm/Gunner on 13/6 Impact
Anderson - won a Aces and Eights battle Royal on 13/6 Impact

So surprising names left out for me are Matt Morgan, Angle and Storm.

Guessing Storm will be tagging with Gunner throughout summer, Angle will be facing Rampage at BFG but in the meantime what does he do? Join Sting? Morgan is gunna just drift and do nothing again, surely should have been in the series instead of Bradley?

So who's gunna be the final four?

Im picking AJ, Aires, Roode and Hardy. With AJ winning it.

Think Magnus will have a strong showing and finish in top 6

looking forward to that but might have to be playing catch up all the time, depending on stuff.

also for the wwe if they think cena has to take time off any time soon, should make daniel bryan face of the company for a while, he is so over its ridiculous.

Well it's not Booker T. Nash is under a legends contract with Vince so it's probably not him.

Presumably it's Kurt, Joe, and Sting. I suppose they could bring Steiner back as well.

Yep,I'll be watching.Got a regular thing going on with the lads now were we meet up for PPV's round mine and take it in turns to pay for it.The rest bring snacks & pop lol.I'm so middle aged :(

I keep hearing folk say that Punk isn't returning tonight but it is his home crowd so I can't see him no showing.

yeah i reckon he will show but refuse to wrestle or some shit. if he doesn't wrestle i wonder what will happen - whether y2j will not have a match or it will get thrown to nothing.

otherwise - ziggler, ambrose, reigns + rollins, cena to hold titles, sheamus to win, aj to win, and barrett to lose

Thought Barrett would lose to Fandango but he's out so I suspect Barrett will retain and lose to him down the line.

A few of us suspect Orton may turn heel on Bryan tonight as it would just push Bryan higher and gives Orton the turn he wants.

Heard CM Punk won't wrestle and the Wyatt Family will debut and attack Jericho.

I have absolutely no interest in the card tonight. So won't be watching.

heard that too, epic shit if they do, they are one of the main draws of nxt and can entice an audience easily

6/8, not bad (taking into consideration was wrong on assumption about cm punk)

(also assuming main event goes the way i expect as too tired to watch the last 40 minutes)

Read the Payback results.

What a crock of shit

Ziggler looses the title.... BULLSHIT.

On the plus side, RVD going back to WWE! Yay! Don't need him stinking up TNA anymore!!!

yep, if they were going to do that it would have made more sense to take the title off him cause he couldn't defend it within 30 days or something, like they used to (that clearly went out of the window at some point)

but it was bullshit, end of. my faith is lost on the whc at the moment

Ziggler losing was total bullshit but if it hadn't of been for Punk Jericho it would of been my match of the night.Ziggler is the new HBK & I will watch anything he's involved in.I think it's total bullshit to lose the title though and just a complete waste of his Money In The Bank, not booked right at all.Unless he's going to be off injured for awhile or turning face the angle made no sense at all.

I'm sure the ending to Cena Ryback sounded awesome when they thought it up but the delivery of it sucked & got no pop.Boring.

You know,on reflection,I think it was quite a good PPV though. The triple threat was a great wee match,Punk Jericho was awesome,Ziggler Del Rio booking sucked but they played out the match well,LOVING any match with The Shield atm anyway even the divas match was well executed I thought. The main event was poor but I never had hopes for that anyway.

Definitely thought they were sowing the seeds for an Orton heel turn with him pushing Bryan into a spear.

I actually watched the start, I had to turn it off, it was cringeworthy. Everything is so predictable.

But on paper I can see why it seems it was a decent Raw. Too much Vickie by FAR though, she's played out 'excuse me' is so fucking annoying, why make her so one dimensional? The McMahons are adding nothing. HHH's character has been turned shit. So many faults I can find with the show. I still find when I watch it, its targeted towards stupid people or kids, which means I turn off.

    • My party again had an outstanding 4 days in Barca. We made the right call to leave the festival site early at about 10.30 on Thursday to get ourselves some excellent steaks in the city. I am with everyone that the organization should have been clearer about what is going on and also if you would like to get rid of some attendees open more exits, they sent us from gate to gate until we finally were able to get out. Biggest 'disappointment' was the beer price, a YoY increase from 5 to 6 is absolutely nuts!!!   Top 10:   1. Men I Trust 2. Role Model (could have been first as well, what a great artist and great songs) 3. The cure (the last 90 minutes) 4. Gorillaz 5. MBV 6. Ninajirachi (another big miss of the organization, clearly on the wrong podium and wonder if Olivia's surprise set had something to do with that and they had to reschuffle late the Occident, Cupra and Port schedules) 7. NewDad 8. Big Thief 9. Annastashia  10. Kneecap   We did 3 years Barca now and for next year looking at the Porto of Bilbao festivals as an option.
    • Personally if it was me now, I would be grabbing a green camping ticket with the knowledge closer when I've refreshed that I can still choose general if I want to....you can't do the opposite!    I would say if you are happy to watch your headliners and big bands further back to be able to see who you actually plan to later then yes it is fine. Its a much difference experience to any other festival especially food wise and camping surrounds.    Once you're in the arena as well you're not going back unless you've got a gap. If I go again I'll be going with the option of not trying to push the front and enjoying further back as you actually put too much pressure on it than the time take away can forget to enjoy other acts.
    • No complaints about the sound. We were like 2nd set of steps facing stage right in like the middle row.
    • On the whole then, yay or nay...I've had a look on festivals united and there's people who seem converted by Rock Im Park, I can imagine it might be different if it was a washout as RaR is tarmac.   The hotel side would be more to convince the non campers if it's an option. On my first visit to rock am ring we were shuttled into the area where you could stick the car next to the tent which was fantastic as it meant zero lugging of camping gear.
