Fleetwood Mac?

"If everything goes will we'll be in Europe doing festivals this summer. Then we'll actually tour Europe, which is different than just doing festivals. Then we might do 15 or so shows in Australia."

Without any headline acts released yet is there any chance that they could be one of them? i cant think of many other european festivals that could have them seeing as most have allready announced all there headliners or at least the majority?

hi!

this will be my first time going in 2013, and i'm at a total loss trying to get information from a spanish website.

tickets have been purchased but looking to buy flights at the moment.

what day does camping start and end, as it says 8 days camping and 4 days of music. i can see that the festival starts 18th july so i'm assuming camping starts 4 days prior to this? and can anyone recommend a website to purchase flights/hotel for? not sure where we're flying to either (you can tell im new to this, cant you?)

we're also looking to have a mini holiday either before or after the festival. not too sure yet as a good shower might be needed AFTER the festival and not before!

so yeah, if anyone can answer my questions or give me any further information i might need i'd really appreciate it!

thanks guys.

@danmcpherson

Try skyscanner to look up flights

Cheap flights between Valencia and Ibiza only about €40 pp each way not a bad place to go b4 r after d fest. R u cud get train/bus up to salou to spend a few days.

As for accommodation it's hard to get anywhere really close to the fest so best bet is probably somewhere in marina dor which is about 15 mins drive away and about €25 in a taxi or you can buy a shuttle bus pass for about €50 for the whole festival.

The festival is going ahead 100%, if I had to guess the first few headline acts will be announced thursdayish, latest early next week - we can presume they'll be big headliners as the numbers were down last year off the back of a mediocre set of headliners (still had an awesome time however!) devastated i even watched Dylan as it will forever taint my memory of the legend!

I would have thought that Benicassim would be entirely the wrong kind of festival for Dylan to play at. Saw him at Hop Farm in 2010 - and I think that worked okay, but I can see the average Dylan fan being too old to want to party on down on a baking campsite for a week! wink.png

    • When are  the stage splits ??
    • 13th Primavera (Thursday was definitely making me feel like this was the cursed year).  Blood Orange was such a party by the end of their set but we all knew that rain storm was approaching.  So gutted Massive Attack didn't play after the false hope of a new rescheduling, especially knowing that Elizabeth Fraser & Horace Andy were backstage with them!  Managed a bit of Melt Banana but was just so over the weather by that point.   Friday was awesome, Rilo Kiley were so much fun.  Never been the biggest Cure fan but made the effort for them after Thursday & Robert Smith sounds like he did back in the 80s.  PinkPantheress & Viagra Boys were also great.   The highlight for me was Sudan Archives on the Saturday, she was stunning & with the Olivia Rodrigo surprise set too it made up for the Thursday sh*t show.  Dijon & Knocked Loose also superb.   Shoutout to Cardiacs on the Tuesday too, they were so LOUD, played a storming set.
    • OK, never mind, I'll take normal Nine Inch Nails.
    • Probably my least favourite of the five editions I've been to, but still plenty good enough for me to go again. Weirdly, I was just totally running out of stamina a lot earlier into the night than I remember happening in the past. I feel like I missed a lot of the weirder sets on the smaller stages as I was just totally cooked. Not Primavera's fault, obviously. Maybe I'm just getting old - or maybe I need to pace my drinking better...   Anyway - is David Byrne a realistic get for next year? Certainly hoping so.
    • watching clips of the cure in Barcelona, wow 2 hours 25 minute set. That's gonna be tough on the Sunday but can't bloody wait for it
