Anyone have any idea when the next line up announcement is likely to be?

I think they need to announce more acts soon because BBK (as it currently stands) have the better line up and cheaper tickets. I know it's early days but surely with the festival being abroad people are more likely to book tickets early as more preparation is involved. I just think that if FIB are delaying announcements then they are losing punters as we speak.

I've already bought my ticket but it wasn't the line up that persuaded me to buy it. However I am a big fan of QOTSA and The Killers there's nobody else who excites me. Really need some more acts added sooner the better... Hopefully Arctics as headliners!

The first lineup release is awesome! Two huge names in the headlining slots with a 3rd likely in Arctics. I won't be going to see Azealia Banks but Jake Bugg, SWIM DEEP and Palma Violets are all great calls by the FIB decision makers

FIB's twitter account said today that next names won't be too late, so it's probably they're making an announcement next thurs.

Anyone else thinking cost of flights is a lot more than last year?

We got return from Manchester to Alicante for £107 including baggage, this year cheapest I can see at the moment is £160 (including baggage).

r kez reckons because the festival is a bit later this year we are into school holidays and that puts the price up , we've been watching flights for a couple of weeks hoping the price would come down only for them to go up by £15 yesterday , might bight the bullet and get them booked , still £50 more than last year though

Hopefully a nice bunch of announcements and a headliner this week! Just checked the price of the flights I got for £111 with easyjet and they are now £122. That's Newcastle - Barcelona - Newcastle. Get em booked early I'd say!

just opted for flights from gatwick to valencia , came in at £163 which isn't as bad as first thought , thats flight , apartment and Beni tickets all done , see you there people

Nice! See you there! We are going to camp all 7 nights! Might be hard but we managed 4 night's at T in the park last year and surely it doesn't get worse than that! Besides cold showers will go down much better in Benicassim than Scotland!

Me and my boyfriend are going to Benicassim this year for the first time, and I have some questions if you could be so kind! Thanks

Would we need a sleeping bag each? Does it get cold enough at night to warrant this? Or would we get away with taking one for both of us and unzipping it to use as a blanket? Or just taking a blanket haha

When would be the quietest time of the week to go into the waterpark (Aquarama)?

Would we get a really rubbish camping spot if we turn up on Wednesday? Is it best to go on Monday?

What are the best type of shoes to wear around the camp/arena for men and women? I imagine flip flops for the heat, but don't they really hurt after wearing them too much?

Do the camps have lockers?

Is there really a dance show on the beach one of the nights? Which night is it?

Just found out Joey Castillo no longer plays drums in QOTSA. Thought I'd share this seen as though they are headlining. Dave Grohl (yes, the foo fighters Dave Grohl) will be on the drums, he's cool and that but Joey was unreal on the drums, definitely my favourite drummer so I'm a bit gutted!

Biffy would be awesome as well, hope so! Arctic Monkeys are brilliant! Older albums were much better though IMO.
