It's advertised as 'Werchter Boutique presents Muse' when you go to buy tickets and on the poster it's advertised as part of the 2nd Law Tour. Definitely not a festival by the standards of Glasto, Reading, Roskilde, Werchter, etc. which is probably what they're referring to.

Quite interesting conversation here, the qustion would be when does a 1 dayer become a festival and not a gig?

Agree its not a festival though and just a gig. Its good for the werchter punters that they get the sound/set up sorted before the proper action at rock werchter.

Thing with Guetta into Rihanna, i get it but Bon Jovi is down for the Saturday on efests and Neil said that Bon Jovi playing is a definite, that said, he also said The Roses weren't playing IOW and here we have it.

The Killers have never played IOW, I fancy it to happen and with the London show only, perfect opportunity to do so.

If they don't headline somewhere huge then I reckon Bestival and R&L sub, FATM type of thing this year.

I know, just been in the roses thread discussing that. Think he's just made a mistake and not moved it. He's said they are a definite so I'm taking it as only Sat free.

In fairness no, would mean even subbing, she'd be playing 3 days in a row. And if it was Friday subbing then she's be 4 days in a row but she's not going to sub for The Stone Roses.

Mumford won't be doing anything but subbing I doubt, they won't be allowed to announce it even a day left of a gig surely due to contractual rights.

I'm taking credit for spotting that wink.png

I don't think it'll be Mumford either, I was just looking at possible bands that had tours finishing around that date- it would be good end to the tour to go on about coming back next summer for festivals.

Think it'll be Bon Jovi tomorrow then Monkeys/Killers in December

    • Not necessarily but it should be, Download have a habit of messing it uo when others get the bookings on point. Good Charlotte I doubt are playing 3rd down and that too 3 that day while dreamy is too strong. I think you'd have one another day to help sell weekend tickets. I also doubt Papa Roach play.

They'd be better off playing somewhere like Other sub, but I could see the G getting them to play a smaller stage while it's still possible
    • Another Kraftwerk one for me today, as just back from seeing them.
    • Completed my 2026 survey. Put down Super Furry Animals as my most wanted for next year but suspect the moment has gone for that. Popped a big shopping list in the box for who else you would like to see. 🙂
