i don't think it will say anything about the rest of the lineup

there will still be a dance headliner i guess

look back at the last few lineups. all followed the same pattern (rock act, big dance act, a random one)

hoping the dance act is daft punk. realistically probably be fatboy slim or C&S

That was a one off, they haven't had anyone like that pretty much ever. The Prodigy when they headlined in 09 weren't big enough to headline a major fest, hence they didn't. The Strokes were either, co-head at best.

Will also point out, it was a dance fest that gave Kasabian their 1st ever festival headline set.

I don't know why anyone listens to Gazza. He goes around these forums making bold predictions and then changing them every second day. The "Throw Enough Shite" approach I believe it's called.

T had him this year so they won't have him next year.

We know he's up to something, but I must admit that Rockness is a bit of a punt - hence him only being a rumour.

But in answer to Paul, he might not be doing RN, but if he did he'd be in with a shout of headlining. He's bigger than you're obviously thinking.

Where did this rumour come from Neil ??

Seems a bit random ?

we've got some info that Guetta is doing a headline show at around the time of Rockness. In the absence of knowing the exact place he's playing, Rockness is the most obvious guess.

As I've said above that's a bit of a punt, but it is a punt based on what should be good info about what Guetta is up to. But we're not betting the house on it, which is why it's been listed only as a rumour and not 'strong rumour'.

    • Brazil's first half was genuinely dreadful all round, not just the midfield, so they're absolutely not bulletproof. Whether Scotland have the quality to take advantage is a different question.   Tbf, that's as much on Morocco looking good, which I did think was a possibility. They could be a bit annoyed with themselves not to have scored more before Vini's goal tbh.
    • Surely nowadays with so much data analytics available on every division in world football and so much awareness that people aren't suckered in on the basis of a decent World Cup game... right?   Although tbf, from what I saw, Australia's game plan worked very well. But that was as much thanks to Turkey blowing varying opportunities given they created enough chances but couldn't finish, a la what happened with Switzerland against Qatar when they really could and should've won by 3/4 goals.
    • I missed Viagra Boys for a good spot for Gorillaz. Was a nice weekend and festival for me. Would definitely come back, if the line up is right. Get back home safe everyone.
    • The Last Temptation - new Heaven 17 documentary film directed by James Strong. Premiered at Sheffield Docfest this weekend.    I really enjoyed it. Affectionate, insightful, and honest. A nice mix of archival and footage, interviews and clips from the last tour. Martyn and Glenn are like an old married couple.   Plus a snippet of news from the Q&A, Martyn is recording new BEF material, and Phil Oakey has collaborated on the one of tracks. The film shows them meeting in Fagans for the first time in over 35 years.
    • Glad I’ve still got it booked off for my 50th
