What am I going to stress about this month without

Checking this forum by the minute to see who has had their tickets and the thread which always says "scan it in - post it up"

The endless posts about how shit the delivery company are ;)

Stressing about not getting mine before its time to go and checking see tickets tracker every hour to see if my status has changed,

The build up to glasto once ticket day is out of the way is almost as good as when you finally get there lol

My colleagues at work are not constantly being told 60 days to go, 59 days to go ....ha ha

With all this pants weather I'm sure the weather threads would be gloomily busy by now. NFRNFM-not likely if G was running this year.

I've got my F5 button in serious training for the 3 hour ticket day marathon in October.

At this point i'd normally be studying the clashfinder, trying to work out who to see and how i'll get from one stage to another in time knowing fine well I won't actually see half the bands I plan to.

I reckon tickets will be hard to get again because of the gap there has been. Just hope I am lucky again because the gap makes the urge to need to be there even worse! :-/

I have a feeling it's going to be a nightmare in October. I just remember how it was in 2007, and while last year was a washout up until the Sunday, you can't say it had an effect of reducing interest after the floods of 2005!

Though my negativity could always be impacted by the fact that in 4 weeks time I would much rather be dancing round a field with a cider in my hand at the best place in the world, whilst knowing that this year I'm going to be stuck in back to back technical meetings with a new client.

Anyway, for those of us who would much rather think about what we'd rather be doing in 4 weeks time, here is a link to the site photos from this time lat year http://www.glastonburyfestivals.co.uk/news/site-snaps-the-sun-is-out?result_list=120

Could go either way. The last one was a bit of a washout apart from the Sunday so it might put alot of people off. There's also the fact that alot of people might go elsewhere this year and decide to stick with that next year. There's also the chance everyone will be as desperate as we are. i don't see it being as bad as getting tickets for 2011. we had amazing weather in 2010 and 2011 was the last year before a break so alot of people would be desperate to go.

As it goes, it'll probably be as hard to get tickets as it has the last few years but as long as everyone isn't complacent, there's a god chance trhe majority of us will get tickets.

I'm going to Download in a couple of weeks. On the Download forum its soooooo quiet. No excitement, No discussion. No real decent weather bollocks. No ridiculous lists of a thousand items you can't manage without at a festival. All quite disappointing. It says something for Glastonbury, that even without the festival, this forum has had postings every single day!

I don't really like the idea of wishing the summer away so quickly! For me personally I just hope getting wrapped up in Euro2012 till early July, then having Stone Roses at Heaton Park, Global, Reading & Bestival will just about keep me occupied till T-Day!

Still a huge drought in Download posting on their forum - mainly regarding flogging tickets...

But... ticket day means the ski season is just around the corner!

yey!
