Luke Routledge
just got back from watching the subways. I thought it was a pretty decent gig and would be a welcomed FR headliner. That being said it didnt sell well at all. I got my ticket at 7 in the evening and this was in boro!
Uncle Liam
Feeder up as a strong rumour. Cant see anywhere else they would play. Unless they've sunk so low as to play BBC Introducing. I can see Ladyhawke playing on this stage.
Frankly Mr Shankly
Any of the following will do me nicely thank you: S.C.U.M Paper Crows WU LYF Black Lips Dum Dum Girls Zola Jesus Theme Park Blood Orange When Saints Go Machine Little Dragon Frank Ocean (unlikely as he's at V & Bestival) Alpines Beach House James Blake The Bullitts

Uncle Liam
M83 as a headliner would be an excellent choice. Too big though?
insideaway
Feeder would be cool but tbh i'd just be happy as long as there is no battles Edited May 8, 2012 by insideaway

the wonderwhy
I'd like to see Clock Opera, Alabama Shakes, Blood Orange, Frank Ocean, Marina, Theme Park, Toy, Niki & The Dove, Sleigh Bells & Team Me. Few of those & I'll be happy.
Uncle Liam
I would think Toy would be nailed on. I'd like to see Toy, Niki and the Dove, We Are Augustines, Frazer King, Ladyhawke, Unions, Dum Dum Girls, Austra, The Narrows, Daniel Land and the Modern Painters, PINS, Pains of Being Pure at Heart, Tying Tiffany, Royal Republic, and so many others. Lots of these could play BBC Introducing stage as well.
mrtourette
Frank Ocean won't play as he's at V. Ladyhawke is a good should, I can see her headlining.

Whittick
I reckon Dog Is Dead will play. Check 'em out, quite decent, saw them supporting (Viva) Brother last year.
jazz565
Bass Drum Of Death would be a very nice addition! Where do people reckon they would play? High, middle or low?
joshi
I think a few who will be there will be these: Toy DZ deathrays Theme Park Cast Of Cheers Yuck -subheadlining Feeder (because of the sr rumour) ( headlining against the cure) The Subways (headlining against kasabian) The Drums (headlining against foo fighters) Citizens! Gucci Piggy
I said Feeder, The Subways and The Drums to headline a while ago. Great minds think alike Although I could maybe see Kids In Glass Houses headlining it now. Any idea when it'll be announced?
mrtourette
No official indication, only thing to go by is assuming it'll be roughly the same as previous years.
Gucci Piggy
Okay mate, do you know when that generally is? I can't find where it was posted before. Edited May 9, 2012 by Will-2609
mrtourette
Dude are you really going to make me do this for you? Searched for threads containing "announcement" in the R&L area, on the second page there's a thread called "how often are the announcements" that contains the information that last year the FR announcement was on June 13th, in 2010 on June 14th and in 2009 on June 9th. Without any confirmation that's the best information you can use to make an educated guess, although of course they can make announcements whenever the hell they like. mrtourette
Alabama Shakes are starting to look like one of the hottest bands on NME's radar at the moment, if they're playing they'd have to headline in order to keep that tent from being ludicrously over-subscribed.
