Yeah very true mate, maybe i should have used the 'got' instead of 'copied' but anyway what my point is that i think if Pearl Jam are hear again next year there is every chance they could play Reading/Leeds.

I really do hope Pearl Jam play next year, they're a band I really want to see and haven't had the chance yet. Do you think they'd be more likely to do Hard Rock Calling or something rather than R/L now as they're probably more suited to that?

They are the main reason I've booked my stag do at the Isle of Wight. They would definitely make me go back to Reading or Leeds next year as well. It would be great to have them and Soundgarden.

I think QOTSA under Pearl Jam would be an incredible evening.I've not seen QOTSA yet so the fact they've subbed a few times already recently doesn't bother me, but obviously I accept to other R&L goers they may prefer someone more original.

Stone Temple Pilots aren't sub-size. And however awesome Dinosaur Jr. are, last time they played they were 4th/5th down NME and they haven't got bigger since then.

Jane's Addiction should be in there. And AIC, they may be without Layne, but they're still awesome live. Maybe Blind Melon? Although I've no idea how the new vocalist is.

Could through the Melvins in there, J&MC would be amazing...

While I'm dreaming, can we just have the '92 Sunday?

I'm not sure anyone knows what's going on with Sonic Youth at the moment so I doubt they'll be there & if they did, it would be as NME headliner. I don't think Jane's Addiction would wanna play mid day on the main either (I know they did in 02, but still.) Most of those bands being suggested just wouldn't play on the main stage. I could see it possibly being something like this:

Pearl Jam

No Doubt

Weezer

Incubus

Iggy & the Stooges

    • It was never going to be great was it, there is comments of Mickey Mouse all over socials lol which is very similar to Glastonbury.  Someone I know from RIP watched Welcome to the Jungle and left and they went saying they've got to see GNR. It was the only day not to see out as well.
    • I decided to goto bed early for the Aussie game rather than stay up for Scotland. I don't regret my decision, I also love the complete over reaction during the world cup when a player has 1 good game, that Watford winger is now everyones dream signing. Its also funny when clubs get into the hype and end up overpaying for someone who then does nothing in the prem.

    • I read the Kerrang review and they didn’t seem overly positive. The definition of a 6 out of 10.
