Going by this year's line-up, I expect:

Blur

Mumford & Sons

Noah And The Whale

The Naked And Famous

Metronomy

Biffy Clyro

30 Seconds To Mars

Enter Shikari

Bring Me The Horizon

We Are The Ocean

The Killers

Bloc Party

Foster The People

Crystal Castles

SBTRKT

Or something as equally unimaginative. :P

How very dare you! The 'Bore's' new album is cracking.

Not heard it, but heard it's getting rave reviews. Then again, so did the album with Outlaw Pete the rip-off of a Kiss classic on it, but that's the most dreadful and boring album I've heard in decades.

Anyway got a feeling Florence will be a huge let down at L/R. I don't get her myself.

Me neither.

But I expect it'll be the same as always happens, that those who like her think it's great, while those whose hearing works (:P) run away.

Like it or not she had an absolutely massive crowd at Glasto a couple of years ago, and they were lapping it up. Mind you, when the people who were lapping it up thought 'The Chain' was the "theme tune from the Grand Prix" or worse, "this must be a new song of hers", then it doesn't take much to know the sorts of people who she was impressing.

Granted that wasn't his best album, not awful though. Abit of a grower. This one however hits you straight away, you should have a dabble.

if it's like all the other Bruce stuff I've heard, it'll only hit me with blandness straight away.

There's few acts so highly over-rated in my eyes. And it's not like I've not given him a go - many times too.

You mean a sub academy band with nothing making them big enough to move up subbing to a arena selling band than will easily headline when they play next? if so, then yes i do, like it or not, it could easily happen. But i'll justify slightly and put QOTSA below Blur for you and Dizzee below Biffy for you.

    • I’ve had a good sleep and I feel weirdly zen about the whole thing.   My first Primavera, so not the greatest first impression. I guess today couldn’t be any worse, right?   Thoroughly enjoyed Men I Trust and Geese. Cupra is a beautiful stage and the crowd seemed fun, friendly and engaged.   I think it probably could have gone even worse, considering how dangerous the crowding felt at times.   Anyway, we go again.
    • Brighton centre is a weird old venue for the Mary Wallopers - a great band, a really good live spectacle, and its a saturday night as well which sets it all up - but its at the bloody Centre? a charmless nonsense of a conference centre? Brighton dome is a ten min walk away and is so much nicer a place to see bands its ridiculous!    ah well, i'll probably mosy along anyways . . .
    • So bad honestly. I get that bad weather happens but their communication was non existent. When you're managing crowds of tens of thousands of people, it's just not good enough. I left when Massive Attack was cancelled (the first time) and it genuinely did feel unsafe trying to get out. No one knew what was going on, people still sitting in the ground when there were hoards of people trying to leave, no crowd management at all...   I've been to PS enough times to know sometimes you need to just roll with it but this was way worse than "the bar queue was 30 minutes long".    Today will be better but still feel super disappointed.
