It just feels a bit old; it's within the realms of possibility but it'd be a bit of a snore-fest if it happened. Also Avenged Sevenfold won't play that low.

Is it just me or do Snow Patrol just not really strike as a festival band? I don't know any young people who like Snow Patrol.

Yeah but people still want to and are excited to see Eminem, whereas I don't think the same can really be said for Ocean Colour Scene and Funeral for a Friend, particularly at Reading.

Oh I'd definitely agree that there's room for oldies, just ones that still have some appeal either through a cult fanbase or have a good few songs that everyone can sing along to.

And I'd argue that FFAF are an oldies band just as they aren't particularly relevant to young people anymore, plus their popularity has plummeted.

Maybe a place at Reading, but I don't think on Main; they just don't have the appeal to warrant it IMO.

I don't think it makes much difference. I reckon he tours with the musicians he can get/wants to and plays the songs he wants to.
