Yeah Dizzee into Biffy is sounding like an increasingly reasonable scenario, Biffy are pitched in between rock and indie and young and old so I think that day will be a bit of a mish-mash.

I don't see him there personally. I don't think he'll sub Biffy Clyro, that would probably cement his status as a sub only at R&L and no higher and not sure he will stay like that.

3rd below SOAD or Eminem myself. SOAD may be a weird choice but I can see heavier music fans liking it, Copping has said himself he'd book him, and many Biffy fans etc may like it.

Really? Sounds weird to me but I reckon you guys know more about this kinda stuff. I would just have thought DIzzee and Eminem would both cater to the pop rap fans and a heavier band would lead into Biffy. I've always thought subs should be a kind of, get ready for the big gun of our genre type thing. Obviously I know this doesnt work out all the time but its going with what they've got?

The common theory/arguement is that they wouldn't want to alienate the regular guitar fan crowd by booking the top mainstage slots to just rap/dance music and historically it's been the case with the big dance/rap acts at the fest.

Dizzee has been too big for the NME for awhile now, most likely sub imo.

I really can't see it being Green Day. Their last Euro date is a good 6 weeks before the fest. They'll have been & gone.

It's not confirmed but I think we'd all assume, similar fan bases? If he was against SOAD I'd feel sorry the guy, tent should be empty.
