I'm a fan of all of them, and I don't think they're realistic. SOAD have been talked about more though hence why I'm getting involved in that one.

Deftones at 3rd makes a bit of sense to me, because they've had a mini-resurgence in popularity and their new album has done quite well.

dont want to be stating the obvious but mumford have to be playing/headlining now. just makes sense with the usual T connection and the fact that there is supposedly a band stepping up.

Can definitely see Arctic Monkeys playing R&L next year, simply with the fact a new albums due out next year, and i expect it to be before or during the summer. Also they've progressed a lot live now, Alex is a lot more comfortable, so if you've not saw them recently you'd be surprised. Also they've not been at the fest since 2009, so certainly in for a shout.

Picked up Kerrang today for the Slam Dunk announcement... there was a small section on Reading and the announcement of Deftones.

But festival boss Melvin Benn assures Kerrang! readers they needn't worry about the festival moving away from its rock roots. There's loads more to come... "While we have introduced additional stages to showcase different genres," he tells Kerrang!, " The essence of Reading & Leeds remains, and rock is very much a big part of the festivals. We have plenty more rock bands to come - watch this space!"

So hopefully we'll get plenty of that sort of stuff.
