Would love them as NME headliners, dunno if they would be against Sabbath as i can see them booking a younger band ala The Cure against the Maccabees this year. Maybe they'd be against The Killers? Or the third headliner if it isn't Blur

Saw them in daylight at Jersey Live this year and they were awesome, always a great live band!

If they play all their songs, jam at the end of each one, and do an encore, I think they'll still fall short.

Alt-J would be a weak NME headline, definitely haven't got enough material, still don't think they'll be as popular next year, and I doubt they'll win the Mercury anyway. Yes, the album was popular but thats amongst bandwagon jumping indie kids, at least the panel have a bit of sense. (I think it should be Plan B )

I reckon the XX could sub, but under a headliner that would only get 90 mins so timings could be pushed back & they'd be in the dark. Wasn't Flo pretty much in the dark this year?

Yeah, I think Noah and The Whale are the more likely, I'd say they're the same size/draw as The Maccabees.

I also reckon if Sabbath are on Sunday (Reading) you could have Skrillex/Chase N Status co-headlining with Noah & The Whale like Justice/Two Door did this year.

Saw them on the main stage at wetchter and they owned it imo, will be amazed if they dont play high on the main stage.

Going to see them twice on the next tour.

I don't really know why they've made it Over 18s, only other option is London but my brother couldn't even get me any through work. Said tickets are like gold dust for London at the moment.

Will see them if they play, which I imagine they will. Love the new album.
