Thankfully there are not too many 2am kick offs. Bloody painfull todays game but a win is a win. It has to get better. Georgia and Romania won't be push overs, especially if we play like that. And Scotland will always be hard. Games we will win but it needs to be better.

Fuck knows what was going on with the kicking as well. Roof on, no wind. Jonny was terrible as were Contepomi and Rodrigeuz

Gutted about the Wales loss, one of the best world cup performances I have seen from us. We have really been screwed by the draw. I think we will now struggle to qualify, where as I think we would have won englands group and finished second in the others.

Interested to see global viewing figures for this once the tourney is over. If theyre 50% of the previous competition I'd be amazed. What will the knock on effect be for advertising revenue & general hype or profile for the game one wonders. National broadcaster in Ireland aint even showing most of the matches... comes across as a bit of niche event to my normally well tuned in eyes and ears.

Kiwi/Aussie/Pacific Island figures way up obviously, but the rest of the major nations I'd say the numbers are minute.

Sheridan the first to drop. To be honest, Stevens looked very good when he came on, plus I'd have always have taken Matt Stevens in his form prior to his ban over Sheridan.

Wonder if Johnson will draft in a direct replacement, or maybe just be content with the 5 props, or maybe give Hendrie Fourie his chance at last

    • I really like the Cheap Thrills! I saw them at the Ruby Lounge in Manchester in January at one of Chris Hawkins' "Awesome Friends" nights (which i think is why I even got tickets as it wasn't listed as a Cheap Thrills show!). Very good live and some great songs. I would've gone Saturday if I'd planned ahead!
    • They also seem to be in a mission to break the US with their new major label and this latest LP   Mid afternoon, live streamed on Disney+ is arguably a much bigger gig than Kendal Calling, if they had to skip one
    • This is massively exciting. I've been curious to who will be provide vocals for their live show and this is mega!
