Excellent first announcement. Bought a ticket on the strength of it. This makes it easier to decide cbetween EOTR and Moseley Folk Festival.

Such a great lineup. Basically exactly what I was hoping for from this festival . Five artists I love already, plus some other good ones. If only they'd added Wilco as well, I would be ecstatic (but there's still time for that).

Mmm...admittedly I don't know some of these, but my first thought when I saw it was 'ahh mostly EOTR castoffs' Ok, maybe castoffs is the wrong word, but you know what I mean...lots of ex EOTRers. I love the Low Anthem, but I've seen them a handful of times before and there's not enought yet to make me consider it.

So far I can't say I'm too disappointed about having to miss this... not a bad line-up, but way way too twee and EOTR is thrashing it so far with Tindersticks, JTE, Richard Buckner etc.

I'm sure it'll still be an amazing festival though!

I guess you can be equally attracted to the NDH line-up by some familiar favourites (Unthanks and Lanterns in my case), and the chance to discover music you're completely unfamilar with (half the line-up for me). Looking forward to the Andrew Bird LP just arrived (in my dustbin !) and thinking £89 very well spent.

Turnstile records just tweeted "Lining up a wave of announcements for Thursday". So with their Gruff Rhys already on the bill, one or more of Perfume Genius, Girls, AA Bondy, Los Campesinos! (a couple of whom I saw at EOTR as punters in 2008) and Islet to be added?
