AnnaGrant
Just booked my ticket. Hooray. Now I can start looking forward to it. Think in the process of ordering I have possibly reset the Google passwords for the rest of the users in our house. Its a bit of a fuss going through Google Checkout, and I'm not entirely clear what relationship Google Checkout and Gmail have-they seemed to be connected. Probably going to arrive on Friday afternoon and hopefully will pitch up in the efestivals camp, if thats ok.

AnnaGrant
Good stuff. You'll regret not. Is it too early for the big red/yellow stripes find-camp-efest flag to be posted? It's in just...... ....... 95 days (Or, if it were Glasto & a few years ago, we'd all be celebrating getting our grubby hands on a ticket right about now. )
airds
I am still trying to work out how different a festival of 3k people will be to one of 200k.
AnnaGrant
I'd say... Friendlier, stages are a lot closer together (so no 30 minutes trek), even if your watching a band from the back your still very close, some of the bands come out and meet people after their sets....which is nice, walk from car park is a doddle, no big queues anywhere, just seems more relaxed and if you forget something you can just nip back to your tent and get it since its only 2 minutes away
timespeedsup
Never found the efests at G, so a picture of the flag would be helpful, although with less people it may be more obvious.

outtolunch
No good asking me about anything in the campsite last year I never got that far, but hopefully this year I'll have no vehicle problems and get there for setting up and have time to wander up to see you all instead of selling T shirts. Perks
Am totally in festival mode today..just thought I would put that out there..........not too long to wait now...roll on May - lets get Bearded!!!
AnnaGrant
Does going to Bearded Theory make you a Beardo or a Beardy? Is there a collective noun for a number of Beardos/Beardies? Looking forward to my little festival, with no stressing about T Days and long drives there and back.

rabid
It is definitly Beardy never heard of Beardo being used wierdo yes but not Beardo, as for the collective noun I think you need to get on the forum and facebook group and start a thread to find the most popular and get it into usage I like a rabble of Beardies or as used for baboons a flange. outtolunch
Both are just as likely by the end of the weekend.
AnnaGrant
Is Bearded the first festival of the season? Keep watching the weather and trying to gauge how much its going to have to change to be pleasant by Bearded Theory time.

AnnaGrant
I may borrow my son's tent, which is called a Tempest, so hopefully should stand up to a fair bit of wind and rain (5000hh-top banana). It looks lovely and cosy. But if it's nice and settled I would prefer to bring my big, but not convincingly waterproof, ridge tent. Big brimmed hat will provide a portable refuge from both sun and rain. Vodka will provide internal warmth. So, I'm all set.
