Morning All,

Couldn't go to Glasto this year and to fill the 'void' i'm going to V festival - well actually it's a stag do.

My question is - Did anyone see Pendulum as Glasto, because im torn between seeing Pendulum or jaguar Skills as they both clash. My initial thoughs is to see Jaguar 'the ninja' Skills as ive wanted to see him for a while. But there is also Eminiem to consider but i imagine as 10 mins of morbid wrist slitting rapping i may want to leave.

Pendulum v Jaguar Skills.....hummm

Thoughts please?

Well as Pendulum are somewhat festival whores, astonishng live as they are, you will doubtless have the opportunity to see them again. Jaguar Skills on the other hand is a much rarer beast particularly on the festival circuit and I personally wouldnt pass up the chance to see him live. So there you go...Jaguar Skills. My view anyway

The thing with Pendulum is you know exactly what you are going to get, they are very good and polished at what they do. check the Glasto set on line, if you like the look of that then go to Pendulum because thats exactly what you are going to get at V! A lot of noise and loads of people jumping around. As the above poster says, Pendulum do the rounds so they will certainly play again soon

Thats another thing, you will have a very high level of nobs at Pendulum pretending to 'mosh', especially at V. Make sure you where a reaincost because it will have the highest cup of piss to song ratio in the entire weekend

Good luck at V - I always did B&B as I hate that arena thing, but last time I went my friend wanted to camp. At 9 am on the monday we took most of our stuff to the car, left my jacket, a rucksack etc inside!!!! the tent as we just couldn't carry everything in one go. Had breakfast at a bacon buttie stall, went back to the tent to pack that up and take it home with the other stuff - TENT WAS GONE!!!! All our other stuff was still there.

What galls me is that they had to take the stuff we had left out of the tent ( sewn in groundsheets ) so in no way could it have meant it had been abandoned.

    • Another one from Sheffield DocFest this weekend, Earth Wind & Fire docu, directed by Questlove. Sensational archive footage, contributions from band members, family, plus a lot of very big fans (Stevie, Lionel, Flea, the Obamas) and a warts n all assessment of the genius / flawed human being that was Maurice White. Also, I never realised he started out as a jazz drummer with Ramsay Lewis. Well worth a watch.

    • Got HBO Max to watch football so watched One Battle After Another which is a great film and deserves its awards and then rewatched Magnolia and that is a flipping amazing film...so much in it. (also rewatching Angels In America series which is also amazing).
