I don't quite believe it.. But do you really think they can't find anybody better than Mumford for the Sunday? Come on closing the festival with a bang is hardly a Mumford style!

You're not taking into account Glastonburys history of getting acts who aren't necessarily around. For all we know, an act could have loads of other stuff set up and be headlining but they're waiting till the announcement to announce their other stuff, in the same way Stevie Wonder did.

That's because you're only thinking of the ones that are active. While I'd agree of active acts about Mumford, Glastonbury is able to pull acts who might not have made plans.

It just doesn't add up to being Mumford in my opinion. It appears they went completely out of their way to ensure the headliner wasn't Mumford to me.

i hope i'm proven wrong in the end and the organisers have gone out of their way to stop the third headliner leaking, but i think it being Mumfords and a lot of people's refusal to believe it's Mumfords leading everybody to continue searching for a third headliner is a lot more likely

if they had worked down their list of headliners, surely that means we're gonna end up with an atrocious / questionable headliner rather than an ace in the sleeve?

if you're right (and i hope you are) then Kanye would make a worthy step in that direction. obviously not as unpredictable now, but outside of this forum and people who are constantly checking up, Kanye would be a massive surprise (and obviously ridiculously controversial)

there are probably tons of other acts in that vein but i can't for the life of me think of them as i'm blinded by the talk on this thread

But have the organisers leaked the first 2 headliners?

With all the speculation that they are having trouble finding a third headliner, maybe they are sat in the office reading this and laughing knowing everything has been signed up for months.

I'm still waiting for it to be headliners that come from total left field and the shock horror that will go with it come the lineup announcement.

    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
