So I'm having a massive dilemma, Friday night. Who do I go for......? Seen Fatboy Slim before and was excellent, I know I'll have a brilliant time but oh so intrigued by DJ Shadow, not so familiar with his stuff but only heard good things.....

Anyone care to help?

I went to see DJ Shadow last month in Brighton and will honestly say that it was one of the most visually amazing displays I've ever seen! The music wasnt half bad either!

Fatboy is always fun but you can see him any year at glasto!

I'll be watching U2 but if not DJ Shadow

Saw fatboy last year at rockness and shadow this year.

If you want some fun tunes to sing along to and feel good then go for fatboy, he;s entertaining and i left with a big smile.

Shadow on the other hand i left wondering what the heck i'd justed witnessed. That show was awesome. Nothin to sing to but my head was rippin tunes and i felt like i'd seen something that not a lot see.

two different things.

DJ Shadow has always been one I've just not been able to get into.

Had Endtroducing as know it is a classic album but just never enjoyed it that much.

Ive started watching the videos on the Shadowsphere before as heard it was amazing and not been too bothered, so just watchrd again as maybe I didn't for it to kick in last time or something.

Honest opinion, was didnt interest my and video was turned off again by halfway point. Its the kind of thing I wouldnt mind catching 10-15mins off for the visuals, but would be bored after about 15mins.

Primal Scream for me I think.

The weird thing about not being able to get into DJ Shadow is I like UNKLE, although I like War Stories (think thats right) the most which appears to be most peoples worst album.

Saw them live in Glastonbury 2008 as a closer and wss pretty disappointed and left early :-(

The problem with Shadow is that he's in the JP. I think it's my least favourite stage, even though it gets a lot of the bands I want to see. It's just in a grotty corner of the site, away from the fun sights and the nice food.

With all these choices, I think when you're there, the answer will become obvious to you.

shadow for sure. saw him at parklife and the the visual show was breathtaking! defo the best visual show i have ever seen! truly epic!

it was so good im considering seeing him again at glasto... fatboy plays every year and with shadow you'll be getting a truly unique experience.

its defo worth getting on to his 2 best albums before seeing him so you at least know some of his most popular tracks (they are entroducing and private press btw). it really goes off when organ donor plays ;)
