in '09 did they actually build that bar (Ridge and Furrow) over a period of days during the festival? I seem to recall that it was still being assembled on the Thursday and thought it was some sort of work in progress folky art installation till I walked past and people were drinking there. I suspect I may have dreamt that.

St Austell brewery have their own beer tent now (think its on the main route from Other Stage to Pyramid, might be wrong)

Thats probably the closest to a 'proper' boozer. Lots of good St Austell beers and have tables with bar games painted on.

Well worth a visit. Hope its there again this year

The tiniest bar on site last year was in the Chapel of Bono in Shangri La. There was a chap just selling Guinness from behind a teeny faux Irish bar :D

After the Mendip District Council report last year I doubt there will be many unlicensed bars this year .

Technically last year there was 16 bars { may have been 18 } that did not comply fully to license law and I doubt MDC will be so forgiven this year - time will tell.

We sat upstairs in The Avalon Inn one year, really liked it. Then we jumped out under pressure from a BBC cameraman to do something that'd look good on a highlight reel... Dunno if it ever got on TV, I've never seen it anyway.
