I know its a long shot, but what about Arctic Monkeys? They are currently supporting The Black Keys and they are being thrown about, so what about Arcitcs? They would be billed as a UK exclusive which would tick Melvins boxes, and we are already seeing recycled line ups as it is so whats to say they won't headline again?

Err no '"two years BETWEEN them last playing." They played in 09 so 10 and 11 would be the two years between.....

Maths isn't your strong point, is it?

It's one year between 09 & 10.

It's another year between 10 & 11.

It's another year between 11 & 12.

That always equals three years. :)

Nooo I mean they played in 09 so in terms of reading and Leeds appearances 10 would be one year they didn't play and 11 would be the second year they didn't play so if they played this year it would only be two years between their last appearence that they didn't play. This is getting out of hand lol but either way, I'm guessing it won't be them.

No.

That would be THREE years between their appearances.

It would be two festivals that they'd not appeared at, but that's a different thing.

It's a shame about blur and Green Day. For me the third headliner needs to be good. Saw Foo's at MK Bowl (still want to see them again though don't get me wrong) and not that fussed about kasabain depends on other headliners whether a see them.

Hoping for The Cure or Bloc Party (headline or not)

    • There is possibly a weak link in the ticket buying system, no matter how clever the technical controls get. I just spent 20 minutes this morning hammering the ‘Buy Tickets’ button while the web page kept telling me there weren’t enough tickets remaining to meet my request. Eventually it changed its mind and let me buy two tickets. Most likely because of failed payments in the queue ahead of me. So - just like it did in the good old F5 days - pig-headed blind persistence can sometimes pay off.   BTW, the tickets were for the Whispering Bob Harris evening in the Albert Hall on 2nd December.
    • All I'm asking for is Rancid
    • MGK would probably end my interest in this festival completely.
    • The basement, deafheaven, Mannequin pussy clash is v annoying. Also not sure why pinkpantheress is in the tent, surely going to be ramos.
    • It's just this:   Search up which orgs are currently in Tufton St, funded by Koch Brothers, Robert Mercer, and Matthew Elliot.   It's moved on from "Vote Leave" and "Leave Means Leave" into the lobbyists against net zero. It's the same funding from the same people in the same place lobbying our media and politicians.
