The Vines? A new album in June and it's been 5 years since they've been in the UK. I'm not sure it's likely, but it's certainly possible. Fourth down on the NME is about right for them and there's good reason to label them "Special Guests" as opposed to announcing them outright. It's either that or someone from Download or Sonisphere, but how many of those bands would play 4th on the NME stage?

I think people are getting the idea of "Special Guests" and secret sets mixed up here. Bands playing secret sets usually play under an alias (Green Day, Kaiser Chiefs) or else don't advertise the fact on the line-up (Foo Fighters, Biffy Clyro). "Special Guests" is generally someone who can't be announced because of licensing constraints, though it was used for The Vines in 2006 because the organisers wanted to be 100% sure they'd be there before revealing them (there was a high chance of them pulling out because of Craig's health).
