I'm seeing them support Arcade Fire at Hyde Park and they aren't even the best support band on the bill.

Mumford & Sons are would be better subbing the NME for me personally, better atmosphere in a tent for them. However Bloc Party, Prodigy, Elbow, Pulp. Any of those 2 would do me perfectly

It would be better subbing the nme but be realistic, phoenix, we are scientists and enter shikari subbed the tent last year. Mumford and sons last album more than likely sold more than the last albums from those 3 bands combined, hey it possibly sold more than the 3 headliners of the tent combined. They were in the top 10 selling albums of last year and have just won a brit award for best british album. Theres no way they could play any position in the tent other than headliner. I wouldnt at all be surprised if they got the 2nd headliner position on the main stage like dave suggested, however 3rd main stage is probably more realistic.

I would love it to be The Pumpkins as well. One of Pixies, Soundgarden, Daft Punk, or Beasties would be a huge twist but I would love it.

Korn are on the 2nd stage at download by request. Guessing they already had pendulum booked as 2nd stage headliners so korn agreed to play before them. I also heard it may of been that a massive headliner was booked but pulled out for the friday at download, and korn didnt want to clash with them, so asked not to headline the 2nd stage,

Id like to see Korn play reading one day, subbing prehaps are more heavier headliner.

They're an arena band, no way 4th. 3rd is fair and 2nd a push but plausible. I doubt they would even play as they've been turned down after begging to play before but people keep saying they might.
