Lovely & sunny here in Beer right now & brightening all the time. we are only about 40 mins from the site. Feeling a tad more optomistic this morning.

As a proper dyed-in-the-wool traveller/hippy, you should probably use canvas bags rather than poly bags. Better for the environment.

Good luck with those sacrifices. They may deliver a dry day on Sunday. We need more sacrifices if the unisy charts are not to be to rewritten.

It WILL NOT be worse than 2007 for loads of reasons.

The drainage has been sorted, only showers are forecast, you cannot trust the BBC online weather site, Pilton is it's only little micro-weather area, it is stuck between big hills which do something (will need a cleverer person that me to explain how this affects the weather), due to the rain in the lead up the site will be covered in Straw by the time everyone gets there, no thhunderstorms are forecasted, the site isn't that bad at the moment affter all of that rain, and I repeat, WE ARE ONLY FORECAST SHOWERS WHICH WON'T HURT, THEY WILL HELP AS THE HARD MUD WILL STAY A LITTLE BIT SQUISHY WHICH WILL HELP EVERYONE WALK, COUPLE THAT WITH ALL THE STRAW IT WILL BE FINE.

If you own a wetsuit, bring it, as you'll definitely need it for the 5 days. That's the only way you'll enjoy Glasto 2011. YES, it will be that wet.
