Chris Moyles is very very angry...

he should be on his knees, praying, thanking whichever god it is that allowed him to be making his living being such a nasty git...

what planet is he on? For a whole half hour, he didn't play any music. He just ranted. Is he aware that the idea is that he should be in some vague way, entertaining. Some fat git whingeing that he hasn't had his thousands paid for a few weeks, is not only not entertaining, it's downright insulting

some of his rant here

"I'm really angry"

"yes, you sound angry"

"I'm in, every morning, flogging it" ... flogging it? right...

c**t...

(ps, yes I know this is a day old...)

so he's the longest serving breakfast host because he's doing a shit job? righto!

he doesn't 'go on national radio'. that's his bloody job and part of his job is talking about every day life. this is part of it and he felt a need to say it. and why not. anything behind the scenes obviously hasn't worked. this is getting it some interest and will probably resolve it.

and your last sentence doesn't need a reply if you bothered listening to the rant. which i'm guessing you haven't. (oh and the most likely replacement would be vernon kay i imagine. who i'm sure most think is a prick too)

no it isnt, part of his job is to turn up and entertain the people who listen to him, not use taxpayers money to air his professional greivances with us (his employers).

I did listen to the rant (the bit linked above). and he is still a prick. "I know the name of the person responsible" WTF is that all about?

Can't stand radio 1 or Chris Moyles, infact most of the presenters I find bloody annoying. I haven't listened to it for years much prefer radio 2 with the other Chris who isn't as much of a twat.

I can understand ranting if you are annoyed about your pay but isn't his behaviour just the same as people who whinge about work on facebook and their boss sees it and then they get sacked or something

    • I really like the Cheap Thrills! I saw them at the Ruby Lounge in Manchester in January at one of Chris Hawkins' "Awesome Friends" nights (which i think is why I even got tickets as it wasn't listed as a Cheap Thrills show!). Very good live and some great songs. I would've gone Saturday if I'd planned ahead!
    • They also seem to be in a mission to break the US with their new major label and this latest LP   Mid afternoon, live streamed on Disney+ is arguably a much bigger gig than Kendal Calling, if they had to skip one
    • This is massively exciting. I've been curious to who will be provide vocals for their live show and this is mega!
