Bruce clearly had no plans to sell Bent. However, I think it's more a case of selling a player that doesn't want to play for you anymore rather than the deal being done above Bruce's head. After all, Quinn hadn't actively looked to sell the player either, or told Bruce he needs to balance the books buy selling Bent or any other player. All he's done is maximised the transfer fee received once the player has made his decision he wants out.

The key is whether Bruce gets the money to replace Bent directly, or strengthen other areas of his squad.

So true on his knees but he has played alot of games for us since his arival four years ago and has a decent injury record at Stoke as well as playing with a dislocated shoulder

My fave one of the lot!

If some of his goals had been scored by Ronaldo, Messi, Drogba, Ect People would be still going on about them now.

There's a *BIG* difference. I can only edit your post in one of mine. You edited my post in my post.

So you abuse your power, as well as being an ignorant c**t. *FACT*

:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

I edited my post in your post no different to you editing my post in your post, you ignorant arsehole.

I could have been as equally as childish as you and got a post of yours and typed some worthless bollocks in it, but I gave up such things when I left nursery school.

Perhaps you should try growing up a little too, instead of believing that anyone who dares hold a different opinion to your word of god impression should be beaten until they submit to your pathetic will.

A person with half a brain would have had a rational comment to come back with, but all you have is hot air. Get over the fact that you know that reasonable discussion is beyond your abilities.

You posted that Jones was paid £x a week. You'd read he did.

I asked whether the source was creditable.

You didn't answer. Well you did but were too stupid or too lazy to answer properly. Therefore I suggested the source was in fact not creditable. Or at least hadn't been proved to be creditable. I'm still in the dark, as you can't be bothered to name the source so that the rest of us can make our own minds up. Perhaps you're too busy making a tit of yourself in the NHS thread? Hmm spit the common denominator here?

Did the paper suggest that they 'understood Jones was on £x a week' or did the paper state something like 'Jones is reported to be on £x a week' ? Or does the paper have quotes from the player or the club etc?

Or at least hadn't been proved to be creditable.

correct - so why didn't you say that, instead of making a blanket statement that EVERY report in a newspaper is not creditable (when the facts show that many are)?

I ridiculed you take on that, because it was ridiculous - as those facts get to prove.

You then regressed to age three, and we find ourselves here.

I'm still in the dark, as you can't be bothered to name the source so that the rest of us can make our own minds up.

I gave you my EXACT source. What did your last slave die of, that you're too lazy or stupid to look for yourself?

Really? You're either suffering from dementia (should we kill you?) or don't count changing the links in posters signatures* as childish?

Using the maximum amount of emoticons in virtually all your posts and using asterisks and capital letters in an attempt to validate your (misguided) opinion isn't childish?

*For the record, I found it mildly amusing.

    • So we've signed a Horny Czech, and Bruno's turned up the training camp instead of doing Isak's nonsense.   Still not sure I believe Bruno's staying mind, but glad he's not doing the sh*t Arsenal are asking him to do to lower the price. If they want him they can stump up.   My suspicion is that whichever of Madrid/Man City don't start next season with Rodri will go for Bruno, and one of them will come in while Arsenal have f**ked about trying to get him cheap, which while I absolutely want to keep him, would still be good enough bants and a nice middle finger that I wouldn't mind it so much. I just wish we'd report Arsenal for tapping up.   If rumours are to be believed, we're after 2 more defensive signings, and an attacking player, on top of a replacement if Bruno leaves, having already signed a LW, 2 CMs, a GK, and some youth players. Huge churn, but apart from a couple of Bazou Toure's games for Ivory Coast at the world cup, I've not seen any of them play. Over 2 summers we've basically changed our entire team aside from the CBs.
    • I think the level of headliners Bloodstock get is varied    There's been bands who have gone on to play Download in quite a low spot like Meshuggah, Behemoth, Opeth etc.    Then they've had years like 2025 where you can argue that all three headliners are download main stage sub level    Knocked Loose right now i'd argue are 3rd down on main/opus headliner level while EC and FFDP are borderline main stage sub
