Sorry Lith, but im over the moon today! You have a real hard run in, but if you do go down, you'll do a Newcastle and storm the league and come back up.

This years season has been so close. Great season, I know we [Villa for those of you that didn't know] have been down there, played some awful football at times and made some dreadful decisions but, its been a gripping season throughout from top to bottom of the league.

Glad Man City won too, FA cup Final without Arsenal, Man U or Chelsea in it is good viewing IMO, hope its Bolton who win tomorrow. That would be a cracking Final

I think West Ham would still have a good enough squad to go straight back up.

Parker may go and possibly some other but Hitz has hardly played for them, think he'll stay, one of the best youngster in the league Hines, I think would stay. Cole im not sure would leave either.

I think im in the minority but if blackpool go down then I wont be too disappointed. They have added a lot to the league and the fans will have loved it. However the truth is they have the worse squad by a mile. They have been found out and if they dont go down this season they will probably be humiliated next. With Charlie Adam, their squad is weaker than qpr and cardiff, without him you could add a few more championship sides. Holloway and the players have done great to make it competitive but they just arent good enough.

aye?

not really been paying much attention, just checking most of the results.

who you think is staying up instead then? really hope blackpool manage it. and west ham. don't think the league would be a poorer place without blackburn, wigan or wolves.

Can't stand Holloway, see his little dig at Charlie Adam on MOTD, what a c**t, you didn't let him leave, and he's still playing, thing is, he's been identified as the heart of the team, so he's singled out by the opposition.

REALLY hope Blackpool go down and Adam will leave for peanuts. Holloway gets it bitten back in the butt, shouting his mouth off slagging off Villa completely, we did absoloutely nothing wrong the way we went after Adam, but Holloway was very disrespectful back and then did exactly what he was accusing us of. Prick.

    • Sam Fender, Harry Styles, Sabrina Carpenter is a very bland set of headliners. Commercially successful and makes plenty of sense, but it wouldn't be very inspirising. That said I want a band like Green Day to headline so who am I to say what exciting is.
    • Potentially rogue shout here but could see Rebecca Black in the running for a mid-afternoon spot. I know most people still remember her for Friday but lately she’s been putting out a lot of fun pop bangers, think this could be a very fun booking!
    • FFS why when there are pull outs does it always include so many of the names I had as must sees!
    • This is a pretty petulant stance.   I oppose him headlining because I love coming to Slam Dunk and he would be a very big reason why I wouldn't come. That doesn't mean they can't choose to do so, they obviously can, I would just stop coming to that version of Slam Dunk.   Another name that I'll throw out there as name I'd love is Biffy Clyro.
    • There is possibly a weak link in the ticket buying system, no matter how clever the technical controls get. I just spent 20 minutes this morning hammering the ‘Buy Tickets’ button while the web page kept telling me there weren’t enough tickets remaining to meet my request. Eventually it changed its mind and let me buy two tickets. Most likely because of failed payments in the queue ahead of me. So - just like it did in the good old F5 days - pig-headed blind persistence can sometimes pay off.   BTW, the tickets were for the Whispering Bob Harris evening in the Albert Hall on 2nd December.
