Mon the tartan army!

I'm going wooooooooooo!Got tickets behind the bench apparently. No sure for which team though and apparently I'm in the Brazil section, that's what I get for allowing my Brazilian friend buying the tickets.

Got a bottle of champagne riding on the result with him lol.

The wales v england game went pretty much as I expected, although I did expect a little more fight from wales. The naivety of a team full of championship players really shone through. Cant believe how ott the english media have gone today. I have heard how england looked like potential european champions, wilshire and parker played absolutely outstanding and wilshire demonstrated himself to be a true international class player. England were solid and profesional but nobody approached outstanding level. Im amazed all these conclusions can be drawn from 1 side playing a team where none of their first team would even make then england squad.

I like Keane's comment on the media:

"I was asked last week by ITV to do the Celtic game. A couple of weeks before that I was asked to do the United game against Celtic at Old Trafford. I think I've done it once for Sky. Never again. I'd rather go to the dentist. You're sitting there with people like Richard Keys and they're trying to sell something that's not there. Any time I watch a game on television I have to turn the commentators off."

I'm with you Chief.

Posted this in the Scottish football thread but thought id post it here aswell:

Totally shocked by the racist reports about us yesterday at the game.

I didn't hear any of that and its true we were booing Neymar through out because he did seem to dive and play act afew times. We all started booing before the penulty to try to put him of not to be racist.

Also the crowd was quite mixed but the end were he took the penulty was Brazilian.

I thought there was a great atmosphere and whenever I noticed Brazilians amongst the rest of us in bars they seemed like they were having a great time mixing with us,the tartan army.

My mates, one of which is Brazilian, were dressed in Brazilian tops and whenever people spoke to them it was just pure banter, they loved it.

So sad to hear how this has been reported.

    • Yeah, that was always a possibility.   We're obviously obsessed with Glastonbury and so assumptions are made when something like that is said. It's unlikely Madonna feels quite as strongly about the festival and so her being excited about something big in the UK next year (or however she phrased it) should really be taken as carrying a lot more possibilities.
    • MGK to headline anyone?
    • Fantastic news.  Not got our settlement car park pass yet, but this gives me hope that it will arrive soon
    • I think they mentioned it in one and interview that the concept of Passport is one thing that differentiates the Sziget from other festival and encourages to explore the site outside music stuff. I doubt they will get rid of it, they might just be late, like they are with everything else.
