aye obviously compared to the elite, you're not a big club. but west ham are definitely a club who should be in the premiership. much like newcastle. was a big club that went down that year! would be a big loss i think if you went down. especially if you compare it with who would come up (qpr, swansea, cardiff the top 3. fair enough leeds and forest are there too. norwich, meh)

suppose you'll see it differently than me being english and more involved but for me, villa are big regardless of the fickle fans. would be weird seeing them in the championship. unlike middlesbrough, portsmouth etc which seems pretty natural.

langdale wasn't chuffed last night neither!

i hope blackpool are fine though. great start and look to have more about them than burnley who completely crumbled in the second half of last season. gonna be some big teams going down!

Only one of which will be missed...

Oh c'mon  .... yes I know lots of people don't rate Walcott, but he's much better than he was a few years back and there's plenty of highly placed people in football who hold him in high regard nowadays - Messi said that England would have won the world cup if Walcott had been part of the squad (yes, I know that's an over-statement, but it shows how highly he thinks of him), and Postman Pat has finally conceded that he made a mistake by not including him. He ain't perfect but he's a very good player, and getting better as time passes.

    • Same’s happened at MSG recently with Rush and Phish alternating nights. I guess each band has its own unique production so their riggers will be kept busy
    • The rumour was uk arena tour late this year.  Same as Charli xcx cant be announced until Reading headline is done.
    • Latest from the sun at least is that harry is still headlining but Olivia has turned down a spot next year to work on new music and hope for 2028.   So they can't have Fender, Fontaines, Harry, Olivia and Madonna.
    • I mean I don't think EC and FFDP are borderline sub, they wouldn't be any lower now.   2025 is about as strong as Bloodstock gets yet this year only one headline would sub and the others would play 3rd down or lower.    Machine Head wouldn't sub at Download regardless of rarity, they don't sell enough tickets and I'm not sure Gojira would sub either. Their last UK tour was a mix of smaller arenas and academy dates. Ally Pally being the only London date, not even Wembley Arena.
    • live music / main stage will generally end around 11pm but theres dj’s and late goings on right till 4am if you are so inclined.   Drinks are about £7.50 a pint probably and yes theres lots of mixed drinks / spirits / cocktails available to buy   wonderful festival, back for my third year in a row and 4th overall
