What's happened to the search form? no option to search for individual posts now. How am I meant to annoy Neil by bringing up year old posts in the football thread? :P:lol:

You can still search topics. I can't remember how exactly it works now, but you can.

Also this new layout works great on my HTC Desire :)

Plus I can now sign in to the forum on my mobile with the new Facebook Connect feature, where as before I couldn't due to the ™ in my name :D

I don't want to start a row or get banned but i think its a bit poo that efestivals is advertising the new money lenders Wonga.

They charge interest at 2689% APR

I know its for short term lending but it does encourage people to get in serious amounts of debt. Its a bit like provvy loans for people on low incomes.

I know you have to finance the site somehow but could you not pick and choose a bit?

It's no different to an ad for a TV. Both are ways to try and tempt people to do business with that company.

The interest rates are shit. But just as with the TV, no one is forced to take up the offer. If someone is going to take on a loan they can't afford, they'll do it with or without that advert.

Having said that, if I were in the position to pick and choose, I would do. Has your own income fallen by over half in the last year, to the point where you'd be HUGELY better off on the dole? ;)

    • It feels really busy this year, loads of big groups of youngsters too. Slightly different vibe to previous years I've been. As with Tramlines, they're very chatty during sets and there's a constant stream of them in and out of the crowd... definitely feeling my age 😂   The Quarry stage I think is a lot smaller than previous years - seems similar size to Squid/Leadmill. Some sets have been difficult to get in.   I think I've reached my limit with mid-tier indie guitar bands. There's been quite a few this weekend where I've gone over to see them then walked away after 20 mins. Surprisingly, enjoyed the Fratellis set the most in this genre. Probably getting on for 20 years since I last saw them. Wasn't expecting them to do Yes Sir, I Can Boogie, which was fab!   Hugely enjoyed the Happy Mondays yesterday, and same but different with Radio Free Alice who I saw again on Friday, following Tramlines last weekend. A big run of pop acts today - Scissor Sisters will be fantastic!
    • I have a spare campervan pass to get rid of.  unable to use Kaboodle as it is only entry that they re-sell
