There's a well established tradition of not worrying about the date on the news in this thread, so I'll keep that going.

This probably isn't worksafe though

The line that disturbs me the most is that the guy interviewed has "only come across this type of thing three or four times". Only?

I'm no great lover of oil companies, and I apologise in advance for what some will consider to be a question in poor taste.

Has the US Government accused BP of running a paedophile ring?

I ask because they're accusing them of absolutely everything else, terrorism included.

Words completely fail me although perhaps not surprisingly as its the Mail...

I do like the comments though

I was at a local basketball court in Philadelphia and some friends and I were playing a game. A couple of guys came down the street and they were listening to headphones. They were talking crazy and started fighting. Turns out, they were "dosing." My mom was so upset she sent me to live with my aunt and uncle here in California.

Penis photo posters seized by police in Lewes

A person who put up enlarged photographs of male private parts around a town in Sussex is being sought by police.

Several large images of a man's penis with a yellow bow tied around it have been taken down from car parks and places close to schools in Lewes.

Sussex police have interviewed people at offices close to where the A3 and A4-sized images were found.

The posters have also been sent off for fingerprint analysis.

The force is also investigating whether it is some sort of protest, as a number of the images included a caption which read: "Fees set to rise later this year."

A Sussex Police spokesman said: "We are aware of these posters and a local PCSO [Police Community Support Officer] has removed a few, but we have not received any formal complaints.

"However, we are concerned that the posters have appeared quite close to local schools and they may well cause offence or distress.

"However, from what we've seen, if this is a self-portrait, the artist won't be in a hurry to be identified."

    • It feels really busy this year, loads of big groups of youngsters too. Slightly different vibe to previous years I've been. As with Tramlines, they're very chatty during sets and there's a constant stream of them in and out of the crowd... definitely feeling my age 😂   The Quarry stage I think is a lot smaller than previous years - seems similar size to Squid/Leadmill. Some sets have been difficult to get in.   I think I've reached my limit with mid-tier indie guitar bands. There's been quite a few this weekend where I've gone over to see them then walked away after 20 mins. Surprisingly, enjoyed the Fratellis set the most in this genre. Probably getting on for 20 years since I last saw them. Wasn't expecting them to do Yes Sir, I Can Boogie, which was fab!   Hugely enjoyed the Happy Mondays yesterday, and same but different with Radio Free Alice who I saw again on Friday, following Tramlines last weekend. A big run of pop acts today - Scissor Sisters will be fantastic!
