Quite glad I inspired the anal section of this thread! :P

But in all reality, remember how unbelievably hot n sunny it was at 2003...? After the experience me and my lady friend were literally RAINING with sweat, so much so that a shower was necessary. The long walk to an incredibly cold shower was NOT fun. And the shower was shit. It was like a bad comedown but not due to drugs...

I don't know if dropping your anchor in poo bay is the best idea after a girl has been holding it in for a number of days so to avoid the long drops at Glastonbury. It is effectively like a plunger effect and that ginger will lay an orange turd in your tent...guaranteed.

PS. I heard that Purple Aki would catch muscly young men, squeeze their calf muscles and then for his party trick he would force them to pull down their pants and squat onto his face. They were in so much fear that they had to sit on his head.

    • I was thinking big London date and lots of smaller ones.
    • I don't think they are too big for Castlefield these days. They've not had a new album for almost a decade and they like playing smaller venues. Maybe multiple nights is another option as they do like residencies
    • Second half of next week I would expect for stage times.
    • made a last minute decision to go to Belladrum festival.   it was absolutely wonderful.   never been before, to be honest I think I was expecting a stage in a field and a burger van, but its nothing at all like that.   the site is beautiful, its small enough to get around, but big enough that there are things to discover round each corner, there are a good number of small stages tucked away.   you could quite easily convince yourself you were in Glastonbury in places.   I may have only been one time, but already learned a valuable lesson - the site itself may be Glastonbury like, but the "general camping" campsite is very much Reading like! as the morning mist rises... its a view like the Do Lung Bridge scene in Apocalypse Now...   so if you are not 15 years old, go to family or quiet camping which is fantastic.   its a real family friendly festival to - loads of families and kids of all ages running round and stuff for them to do.   I would 100% recommend it, and I really can't see any reason why I wont be going back next year!   🙂
    • In terms of a Manchester/Leeds date, Wythenshawe? Too big for Castlefield Bowl, Kirkstall Abbey, Millennium Squade
