Well ITV chose not to show any more of the opening ceremony, and instead witter on about complete bollocks we've been hearing about all f**king week.

Great work, chaps. C**ts.

Off down the pub now for the game - unless they decide not to show that and do a re-run of the 1966 final. :rolleyes:

I don't think it'll make any difference unfortunately. ;)

The crowds will be most SA's anyway, and it'll probably be the case that other fans will buy them and blow them, on a "if you can't beat 'em, join 'em" basis.

Horns aside, that was a decent opening game. :)

I've completely changed my stance on the vulvas (please Neil - can you put a swear filter in so 'vuvuzela' becomes 'vulva'?) and I really like them now.

The atmosphere in that game was unreal, and I thought the vulvas (:lol:) really helped make that atmopshere so good, and really quite unique.

I love the things and I want one. But would probably not get one as it would mean the end of my marriage.

      I'm surprised they risked it, especially after nearly missing their Glasto 22 slot under similar circumstances  I did see someome say Ellie didnt sound as strong as recently but I'm guessing playing 3 shows in 2 different continents doesnt help that    On the topic though I can definitely see them doing a Fontaines and having a break over winter before a few final Clearing shows next summer

      That's fair on WA - I did recall people thinking Fontaines would take this year off before this was announced.    On the subject of Wolf Alice, they did Lollapalooza in Chicago on Saturday then Kendal Calling last night. Bit of an odd choice, no? Half imagine at Kendal that they would've been just exhausted.

      Just logged onto the app to start planning my days and there really are a LOT of stages missing. Apart from the Seaside Stage there is no Casemates this year etc. Apart from the Seaside Stage, there are no Casemates this year, etc. Can't see anything about the kids field really. And there's local acts that are normally there like Kojak's Revenge that aren't appearing either.  Normally we get down fairly early but I can't see anything before 3pm I'm keen to see. Only one real clash as well, which is good, but it's thin and it's not thin in the sense of "I've seen a lot of these acts before"
