Their debut is a modern classic in my view. TahDah was ok but overall very dissapointing. New stuff sounds very promising. They were one of the biggest bands in the country a while back... hopefully they will be again. For me they'll be outdoing Muse with their set...

since when have the 2nd from top bands on the pyramid been good anyway? Recently we have had The Kooks, The Fratellis, Kasabian etc

That slot is usually filled by a gash band. This is nothing new. I'll simpyl go elsewhere (and stay there, Muse are horrific)

Yep. Ever since OOS Muse's album have gotten worse and worse. I saw them live around 2006 and they were good but now it seems to gotten a bit pretencious and OTT. SS one other hand just look great fun live.

as far as pop songs go, i quite like it, and there other bits and bobs from new album is also not to bad. snd from top no, a miday slot would have been better, but there you go. if im there waiting for muse, ill maybe have a boogie woogie.

I heard the new album in it's entirety at the weekend and I think it's going to be massive. LOVE the album, apart from 2 bum (IMO) tracks and I think it will do really well. It's a dance album, sounding very Studio 54, with a couple of stonking tracks that will get re-mixed to hell and back. They are planning a set that will be wicked, fun and entertaining, and to me, that's what Saturday nights at Glasto are all about! It's a PARTY FFS!!

Glad to hear the rest of the album is good, maybe the single needs the rest of the album? (Bands sometimes make poor choices for singles IMO ).

I never doubted they would be planning a great show thought, I am really looking forward to it
