Just been listening to them on Spotify, can't believe i've never bothered to check them out before! Perfect music for West Holts in the sun, with a pint of brothers or 4 :P

Cheers for that mate, I'll give them a go tonight.

They are one of those bands where I have seen the name quite a lot, but somehow have never actually listened to anything they have done.

Oh I will. Though I'll limit my movement to Pieminister and the Brothers bar between sets!

I actually thought then you'd written "the Bees, a pie and pint then a tug". I was thinking "hmmmmmmm"*

Listened to Free The Bees and I'm now halfway through Octopus. I will be watching these guys, they are great! Even though I didn't know it, I'd heard a couple of songs (Chicken Payback was on a TV ad wasn't it?) and recognise them. Very impressed so far and that doesn't often happen to me on a first listen.

Me with the Bees at the Moseley Folk Festival in 2008. Top blokes. I had a good natter with them. Wolves won 5-1 that day too. Days as good as that don't come around very often!!
