Tickets on see tickets for £22.00 for the Islington Assembly Hall. Incredibly tempted by this, hopefully it doesn't sell out next time money comes in.

EDIT: Just checked the link again, tickets not available. Fucksakes.

It sold out about a week or two after they went on sale months ago. I've got mine for tonight :P

Enjoy. Really great gig. Word of advice. If you really want to hear it I'd advise to get up close/get there early etc.

Its a stripped down sort of sound so if you're near the back or the bar (venue depending obviously) you may not enjoy it as much.

Thanks. I was planning on getting in there as soon as possible as it's unallocated seating, I think this will be the 1st gig I've gone to that is in a church before.

Wow! The cello and violin will sound incredible in a church! And his voice obviously.

Doors were at 8. We got there at 8.20 and all the seats were well gone by then.

Dunno what to make of the record after two listens. Sounds like something Ian McCullough should be onto his lawyer about in places.

BTW

Are Norman Records usually so "robust" in their record descriptions????

      Yeah I do agree on the 2 hour thing. But if they were subbed by Biffy/WA only doing 75 mins or so would be doable.   Only reason I suggested them was because we know they're back doing shows here next year.

      Its probably the culmination of issues that have been simmering under the surface for a while. Spain ran a regularisation program recently that allows undocumented individuals to obtain temporary legal status and then a route to EU citizenship. 1.2 million applied. At the same time Montenegro is having to close its citizenship via investment program as part of EU ascension talks.    Countries are obviously asking, why are we having to reject investors whilst others can wave anyone in?

      I'm not sure, they aren't giving any headliner in that format 2hours and Foos would have at least 2. I wouldn't say Reading is likely for them next year either. If they are as said going big on a tour with stadiums and festivals then the UK is once place they can definitely do stadiums and that would rule them out. And that's even if they come back for a second UK stint as I fully expect them in Europe from very early. That could be seen as hyperthetical but there are is some places I cannot see them not doing from history.
