I am very pleased that that have been announced. I don't feel cheated at all. Just hope they play some more of their older albums and not all of the Resistance. Best tracks on it are Guiding Light and Undisclosed Desires

Had hoped for a band with a little more Glastonbury history (yes I know they have played a couple of times but I mean more!) but at the same time, am sure that there will be loads of other bands that float my boat & who reflect the 40th anniversary aspect a little more too.

My friend on the other hand is ecstatic! :P

Iron Maiden? Not exactly a new band but they are always releasing new material and still play to massive crowds all around the world and they are incredable live. If people got over their fear of they heavy metal (though they are not as 'heavy' as most people think) image I have no doubt they would go down a storm.

I'm not really a metal fan and knew next to nothing about them but my brother in law had a spare ticket to see them in Dublin a few years back so I tagged along and I was absolutely blown away. Great live band!!

I will watch Muse I think. Saw them in 04 at Glasto and in 07 at Wembley, and enjoyed both very much, so it seems I will keep up the 3 year pattern.

I also don't mind the new album. Ok, its not as strong as their previous stuff, but there are some great tunes on there.

I'm sure they said in an interview before Xmas that they had some 'grand plans' for the outdoor shows this summer - so we could be in for a treat.

Dont see the problem if it had been

Friday - U2

Sat - Stevie Wonder

Sun - Muse

No one would have said anything just so happens U2 could only do friday and Stevie Sunday dont care for muse myself but i think its 3 big headline acts and personally Stevie finishing Glasto off will be superb cant wait :P

Look like Father and Daughter are contradicting each other -

"It’s been bandied about that Muse are booked in for the Saturday (26 June), but Emily says people shouldn’t believe the rumours. "

"There won’t be long to wait now, with Emily adding: “We’re hoping to announce the names soon because I think there’s an air of desperation and I understand that people want to know, so as soon as we can, we will announce the names.” "
