No problem Muse playing (seen em 5 times, doubt I'll bother seeing them again)....just shame Wonder's now gonna clash with the sunday other stage dance act.

A wonder - daft punk clash, or even someone like LCD soundsystem will be pretty darn horrific. :P

Muse to headline the main night of Glasto's 40th anniversary - revealed today.

Probably can't argue with Stevie for the sunday, but for the saturday's headliner to be a band like Muse, although I know people love them and their huge in England, also great live ... does anyone just feel a little cheated by this?

Something that can't be seen anywhere else (festival or otherwise) like Bowie, Radiohead, or a Pulp reunion would make spending $2500 to attend less insane. I mean, it's worth it regardless of the lineup, because Glasto is more than just the bands playing (moreso than any other festival out there), but I'm now worried that if I go this year, I won't be able to afford to go in 2011 and what if Pulp finally reunites then?

Oh dear I really didn't think that post through did I? Still Stevie goes back a lot further than those acts.

For those worried about the setlist, I took the V Festival Chemlsford setlist and substituted in a couple of resistance tracks(Lets face it, they are going to play at least 3 tracks from that album). Could be likely? and also added cave/muscle museum. What do you think?

1. Uprising

2. Supermassive Black Hole

3. Map of the Problematique

4. New Born

5. Hysteria

6. Butterflies & Hurricanes

7. Feeling Good (Leslie Bricusse & Anthony Newley cover)

8. Dead Star

9. United States Of Eurasia

10. MK Ultra

11. Stockholm Syndrome

12. Cave/ muscle museum

13. Helsinki Jam (The Drum and bass only jam thing they do :P)

14. Undisclosed Desires

First Super awesome fake encores that bands do now: :

15. Citizen Erased

16. Plug In Baby

17. Time Is Running Out

Second Super awesome fake encores that bands do now:

18. Full Exogenesis with orchestra

19. Man With a Harmonica (Ennio Morricone cover)

20. Knights of Cydonia Play Video

Music isn't a new invention. Nor are CDs. Mp3s are a bit more modern, but like CDs are readily available to both young and old.

Get yerself to Amazon, get purchasing, get listening, and get educated.

This is a 4 and a half month exam - when I say so, you may turn your papers over.

Turn your papers over.

I won't go as far as actually purchasing music (us young people don't do that these days), I will however give his greatest hits a play on Spotify.

However, I hope we don't have a Bruce esque situation like last year where stevies hardcore fans, bemoan anyone who dares dislike their god.

So do you know if they still play the old stuff? Surely at Glastonbury they will?

I quite enjoyed the Killers when they played but didn't think they were the best thing since sliced bread or anything.
