I couldn't see Fatty playing any other day, and i reckon 2 many dj's will be on the saturday.

Any one got an idea what day The Strokes are playing?

I was talking to my mate about this, either way, no matter what, out of

2manydjs

Club 75

Fatboy Slim

Leftfield

The Strokes

You could only see 3 full sets

Poleski, 2manydjs are like confirmed to have a new set up, it was on the rockness website was it not?

hi jim,

why have you picked fatboy slim to headline for the third time in 5 years? did you try to get another act but couldn't get them, or was fatboy your first choice? i can understand the same acts returning if they come back with a new set or if they are progressing up the line up, but to have him headlining again is a big disappointment.

also, what tents will be open on the friday night? will it just be the main stage along with a few other things like the rizla bus, same as last year, or are you planning something different?

The most recent press release on the rockness website (from Tuesday) is still saying that it is a UK FIRST the Liverpool date was announced before this.

I'm not just saying this to have a moan (I'm nae a moaner :P ) - I don't really care if its their second, third or whatever - I just feel a bit mislead by this (it would have been nice to have been at their first UK set though)

I just wonder is Rockness being mislead when booking these acts or is Rockness misleading us?

There will always be a few line-up hiccups with fests cus o the huge amount of acts ... but to discover two in as many weeks (when there are still 4 months til the fest) is shocking - especially when it's the two acts that are at the top of peoples lists to see!

"yay leftfied are playing as are boyz noize and chase and status@"

    • I think some folks are underestimating how many millennials, now into heavier music, were genuinely also into things like techno and happy hardcore in the 90s and early 00s. Scooter may be about is commercialized as it gets when it comes to happy hardcore and techno, but for many, they won't be just a 'silly act' they will be a genuine nostalgia act.
    • Can anyone share please as can’t access the app
    • Someone said something along the lines of "the lows were really low but they highs were really high" and I think that sentence sums up my ps experience this year. Thursday was a downer (even though I got to see men I trust, geese, oklou and fcukers), but the weather, the missed shows and the uncertainty (those comms...) made it a bad day. Friday and Saturday on the other hand where rly good, a bunch of amazing shows each day (The Cure one was quite something), that surprise on Saturday...   Will be back next year, hope they get another impressive lineup as this year (quality and quantity wise) and that tickets and  primarily hotels don't get much more expensive.
    • Rosalia Radiohead NIN MGMT Bjork David Byrne   Also Vince Staples' new album is cool. I could see him returning.
    • If we are guessing then I think it's   Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls   Weezer   The All-American Rejects
