Im happy coz my diet is going well... and ive just started Zumba classes (dancey exercise) which is great fun and makes me feel dead good.

Also happy as ive been job hunting, and I've found a fair few jobs in Manchester to apply for to get started with :P

Have you tried BodyJam? As the most uncoordinated person in the world I only stumbled upon it because one of my other classes was cancelled, but I absolutely LOVE it! It's dancey too and totally addictive.

Happy? I finally have a job I really enjoy and no longer have Sunday night dread, my personal life is pretty darn great, and I managed 4km yesterday in my first run since August :P

Haha - that's a bit scary :P I only did it for 8 months and found it quite frustrating quite quickly. There are similar jobs that are potentially more rewarding, like family support worker, although any working with kids and parents can be infuriating. You've done some before though haven't you? I've moved out of working with families to working behind the scenes, hence why I love it so much! :P

Ha, promise im not stalking you! It was the avatar i spotted first, then realised it was you!

Aaah i thot u still did that job! What r u doing now then?

I currently work as a transition worker for 16-25 year olds, but id prefer to be working with a younger age group. Ive just applied for a few jobs as development/outreach officer in sure start childrens centres in the manchester area. I initially planned to go into teaching, coz i wasnt really sure what else to do with my degree but been put off that idea now, the TES forums are a bit of a reality check when u begin to think of teaching as your ideal career!!

I work for Children's Services on the planning/strategy side. Sure Start centres do amazing work - I'd love to join one if I ever went back into working with families. TES really is a reality check, although people obviously don't moan when things are going well! What's your degree in?

I have a BA in Educational Studies. Started off as a BEd but due to personal circumstances, i didnt finish my final teaching placement. Thought about going back recently to do PGCE but i had second thoughts at last minute!

I dont really know that much about sure start centres tbh but ive been reading up on them over past couple of weeks to help me fill in my application forms and *fingers crossed* if i get an interview!
