Ironically, I was today thinking of doing mine.

It's my Birthday on 17/12 and this year I asked my close family to contribute towards my ticket cost rather than waste any money on stuff I don't really want or need. Thankfully, some of them listened and I received just enough cash to cover the entire cost of the ticket. Banked it in between Christmas & New Year so was going to pay it over some time this coming week.

Also, the thought of being closer to Glasto 2010 than 2009 has given me a fresh wave of bladder weakening excitement! :P

It's never real for me till I have the ticket in my hand. Electronic print outs - even of your bank statement showing the money has been taken ain't worth a bean if your ticket doesn't arrive. My postman realised what it was last year and knocked the door and gave it to me with a big smile saying 'hope you have a great time.'

aye you can't get properly excited until you have your ticket in your hand. it's always a big relief aswell when the ticket arrives cause i always have a slight worry at the back of my mind that the ticket might not come.

Hey, been MIA for quite a few months, recovering from this forum taking over my life. Can't say I got very far though as I became obsessed with another forum that focused on a series of LOST themed poster art that was released by TPTB!

Anyway, now that's cooled down and i'm now back where I started. Paid my balance off last week and am totally excited about it. U2 will be a up on the hill performance for me, not nearly aware of a lot of their songs to be up front so up on the hill where I was for Blur for me and that performance has affected me for life.

God bless the British Gas advert that takes me back there every time it comes on TV!
