The hypocrisy of the Daily Wail

They put out an article saying how it's a cruel stunt to dye someones cat pink, but now some shallow idiot comes forward as saying it's her cat and she dyed her cat pink to match her hair, it's all perfectly good? The fact that the RSPCA's experts comments has been shoved to the end is typical Daily Mail.

My brother asking me to take out two mobile phne contracts for him, he's just been made redundant and so wil be losing his phone. He will be working for himself therefore needs a mobile and it will be cheaper for his wife to have one too as she calls him all the time from the landline.

Too much to ask for her to spend less time ringing him from the home phone?

I wouldnt mind but they are a nightmare with money and i'll end up with 60 odd quid a month extra to pay out if they don't give me the money every time.

I also dont feel i can say no.

Talking of money issues, my start date at my new job has been put back until October 18th. Now, I'll get my last brew payment on October 15th. I won't get paid from my new job until November 19th. Does anyone know if the brew give extra payments in this case or if I just have to lump it for over a month on £103? :(:P

    • Any festival is going to face most of the same limitations just by the nature of the event. It's not realistic to accommodate custom staging that extends out deep into the field. Trying to do so and trying to rebuild those kind of structures at the front of the field every day would severely impact on other performers, potentially even including other headliners. It'd also drive everyone involved insane. The most you can get away with is a basic extension that doesn't hide anything fancy. Remember that a lot of the time on these big choreographed shows, the stage extension itself will contain all manner of things to help the show beyond just being a simple platform. Also remember that these structures are designed to be assembled and operate on perfectly flat stadium or arena floors.   In terms of the stage itself - yes, the Pyramid is undersized (I believe 16 metres wide at rigging level). The de facto industry standard has become 20 metres and so it likely does need increasing and apparently there are plans to do so. But that only helps with artists that can largely confine themselves to the stage.   The Other Stage is already 20 metres - to be exact the Other Stage structure is the same model that Serious Stages provide to Reading, Leeds, Download etc for use as their Main Stage and there's nothing larger (at least off the shelf) in their catalogue. So no reason to change that.
    • Can someone remind me, on Harry Styles specifically - have we had any concrete info on him?   I don't personally remember saying much/anything on him, though I have just been away for a month, so could be forgetting something.
