I once had a shard of shell/sand stuck in the bottom of my foot (in the heel) and it's the single most painful thing I've ever experienced besides slicing through a tendon in my wrist. It took weeks to get it out with lots of 'drawing out' cream and I was off my foot for about 3 weeks. People at work still take the piss because when it finally did come out the shard was about this big: .

f**kwits.

No matter how I try to avoid them I still get annoyed. They should be forced to wear badges or something to identify themselves before they open their f**king stupid mouths. Also there should be a message when you ring a company up:

"For quality and control purposes we would like to advise our customers that 85% of our staff are total f**kwits. Thank you for your patience"

or at least a choice of speaking to a real advisor or a total f**kwit.

"Press one for a customer advisor"

"Press zero for real customer advisor"

My football boots have a big hole in them :P Going to have to try and save some cash to buy a new pair ASAP. In all honesty, its an expense I could really do without since festival season is almost starting. I'm going to have to gaffa tape them in the meantime :P

Psychotic work colleagues.

Great to taunt from afar, but when you have to sit by them, f**king scary.

I'm convinced this one girl in the office is a psychopath. I might get her number and send it to markeeee.

    • All you can say is...     If he couldn't convince nations that really would've benefitted from the short-term hit of an up-front £50mil payment by this time next year, what hope did he have?   Guess we'll now just have to monitor and see if this could derail Infantino's plans to be re-elected FIFA President next year.
    • Spider-Man: Brand New Day   Highlight was a bloke reacting to the post-credit scene by going "Holy f**k it's Tobey Maguire!" despite the scene having no reference to him at all. Which made my close-to-full screening of the film laugh a lot.   Film was pretty good. It was interesting as much as an exploration of the ramifications of the end of No Way Home and being about isolationism and male loneliness, which I thought it actually did quite well. Though I do ponder if I liked it as much as the other 3 Tom Holland Spider-Man movies. Sadie Sink was good tbf, while I also liked Jon Bernthal as Punisher, enough that I might go watch his Disney+ shows.   Seem to have had a Marvel kick recently having also watched Thunderbolts and Shang-Chi, both of which I thought were pretty good.
    • Wolf Alice won't get headliner for Reading either, they will sub if they play, that is where their level has stopped I feel. Both TFG and Skyvip for the big shows this year was just a stretch too far. Every headliner this year is bigger than them too I'd say.   Agree with Capaldi I don't think Yungblud will be at Reading. I would guess Bludfest 3 or Download.
    • If Dolly Parton could do it, I highly doubt it. Just not right for it.   This
