It is very similar though, and a wowful booking if true. He would be much better doing Sunday afternoon Pyramid (just because I want to miss neither him or Stevie).

Anyone who saw him last year, is it worth forking out £40 to see him in Oxford? And, what sort of stuff does he play? Kinks, solo or his choral stuff? As I would mainly be going for the Kinks material.

I'm really happy about this. I had to miss him last year as he clashed with Neil Young. I couldn't miss Neil and he was fantastic, but I kept hearing how good Ray Davies was as well so I'm really looking forward to seeing him this time..a great way to end the festival.

Noticed Ray is no longer set for the Acoustic now. Where is reckoned now? Pyramid afternoon? And does this mean he won't clash with Stevie any more? Cripes I hope they don't clash any more - it would make my day.

Just seen on the rumours list that Ray is now playing on the Pyramid Stage so he won't clash with Stevie - SUPERB news!!

Could be reading way too much into this, but 5pm on the pyramid usually lies in-between the 3rd and 4th from top slot…

So…Sunday

Headliner: Stevie Wonder

Penultimate slot? (Faithless? Robert Plant? or....Coldplay...instead of opening up friday)

Ray Davies

Jack Johnson (Neil had a hint he might be 4th from top)

Rolf Harris??? His 2002 time slot

Andy Williams

Judy Collins???

???

(a pyramid day of solo artists)

obviously 5pm could be a typical Eavis error, but if it's accurate, it's an hour earlier than the usual 3rd from top slot, which means the penultimate slot could conceivably be someone "big" who warrants a 100-120 or so minute slot (like Roger Waters did in 2002), so maybe that's where...Coldplay are slotted. or ABBA...
