It was BRILLIANT - such a love affair between Neil and the crowd, it was so obvious he just didn't want his set to end. Love love loved it, amazing

PS I can understand all the people voting for Blur though - that was such a special performance. I think it was the overall effect of whole gig for me though, rather than any one song. I was in the crowd just me and one of my best friends (the rest of our group had gone to Prodigy) and we were just so happy the two of us, grinning like idiots, singing and hugging all the way through. And that was merely on a few ciders each...

Tender is the best Ive seen for obvious reasons. But Penny Lane in 2004 was also pretty immaculate.

Good call, but it won't beat Jimmy Cliff's Many Rivers To Cross in 2003. That sunny afternoon set was one of the best I've ever seen at Glasto.

I wanted to find a decent recording of Joan Baez singing There But for Fortune on the Acoustic Stage at Glasto but this is about as close as I could get.

You have to skip the first 3 mins 30 and the chat at the start to get to the song.

A beautiful song that sums up part of what Glasto is about for me.

There have been many, and I've only been to the last 3. From 07, Baba O'Reily was epic. Bittersweet Symphony in 08 was also incredible, but from a personal POV it's gotta be Born To Run.

Ray Davies was a major highlight for me. Not sure if my BEST EVER (gonna sleep on that) but IMO certainly best live song from 2009. I would say 'Waterloo Sunset' was his best number and just made me weep singing along to that. Mesmerising!
