Well we all like to hear different things, which is what is great about the show. If you listen to "momentary" and "Counterpoint" online then you may have different point of view. That is whats great about this forum, not only the Glastobating but the musical discussion and a tool to finding new music. I love it , i'm 47 going on 20 when that is concerned and i just love finding new music, always have .

Some seriously average performances on last night's show I thought. I'd heard a lot of love for The Big Pink from various sources so was looking forward to seeing/hearing them for the first time. Thought they were absolutely shit.

One highliht for me was Corinne Bailey Rae. Great song delivered with passion and feeling. Set my hairs on end.

Did I read somewhere that the Low Anthem were on? They were superb on the Park Stage last year and Charlie Darwin is one of the best albims of this year.

Agree totally, she was great, i like the Big Pink, i thought it funny the camera mans obsession with their Japanese drummer, I quite understand it though

Sting is a boring hippy f**ker these days who dines out on past glories and should f**k off. IMO of course. Thats what 4assedmonkey says. Being an old Hippie myself I would not say I was boring or a f**ker. Alot of boring hippies started groups like friends of the earth, Greenpeace ect. Then again you might not give a ....

I will meet you at Glasto at the cider bus for a pint next year. I will be the boring old hippie in a rasta hat.

Watched it last night, was very impressed with David Gray but then I always am. Was also impressed by Rox, someone I'd never heard of but thought they sounded good.

Never said that all hippies are boring or old (or f**kers for that matter) and I've nothing against Hippies. I do however think it's a little trite for Sting, who is a multimillionaire recording artist with his own jet, to start wearing clothes made from hemp, stop shaving and start releasing crap folk songs about Mother Earth.

Mardy - can't remember (sorry), just took delivery of the album today and it is ready for the car in the morning! He did say more Low Anthem on bbc.co.uk/later which I am checking out after my Neil Young/Springsteen Sky+ coverage finishes - today's headliner news got me reminiscing for better headliners

Oh, and I love how we all see something different! I thought Corrine Bailey Rae and Rox were rubbish, and loved Decemberists and Low Anthem, with The Big Pink an acceptable racket. David Gray just sounds so samey, I said to Mrs NS, any of his contributions could have been from any of his existing albums which we already have!
