last year (i think), they played "Livin' On a Prayer" over the PA at the pyramid stage, and the crowd sang their hearts out, very loud

...if they played I would have to see them, since wifey hasn't forgiven me for not taking her to see them on the "slippery when wet" tour, when all my mates went :lol:

I've seen then live a few times and it's got to be said they are an amazing live band, I reckon they'd go down great on the pyramid stage, does no one remeber the mass livin' on a prayer singalong before Bruce came on! And they are much more than livin on a prayer an you give love a bad name! YouTube dry county, these days and something to believe in, amazing

Ive only just ended saying my hatred for robbie Williams on another thread.

Now it's a Bon jovi thread. O god when will the nightmare end.

We might aswell have robbie, bon jovi, u2 and Bryan Adams all playing.

Or u can just go to a cheesy night club (jumpin jaks) and hear all there songs anyway.

But on a positive note I can always go to another stage. So it's not all bad.

Awwww s'quite funny though, watching you guys go purple and threaten murder, infanticide, genocide and self mutilation whenever someone you don't like gets lil rumour about them.

Keeps me entertained at least :lol:

I liked them when they were raw and had good songs 1985 - 89 ;

Saw Some great gigs Particularly Donnington 85 and Milton Keynes where they brought on Aerosmith for walk this way (who in my book could still pull it off)

Things have changed - the band seemed to have sold out to the mass markets and cliqued song formations mainly for female audiences.

Don't know what the new stuff is like, but no for headliner who have past their best.. yes for a sunday

afternoon slot..

I appreciate that we have different tastes in music and that is what makes this forum worhtwhile and interesting. I learn about new bands every day. Thankyou!

But Bon Jovi to headline at Glastonbury - surely not...

At best i could see them being a Sunday mid afternoon "sing along" set but never a headliner.

Michael - don't do it.
