So you'll be the man walking around with a raging hard-on when it's a scorcher?!

The scary aspect of a paddling pool is that it has potential to be used a mudsliding vehicle. I think I've seen people hurtling down a muddy pyramid field one one in the past.

Ban these r**n magnets!

I need help.

I'm sat in my office, and it's been a really dreary, grey, wet day outside. Then, a glorious shard of pure sunlight shone through the window and I became aroused.

We've still got around 2 weeks of this. I'll be a wreck.

You can see the pressure charts now. Click here. Select Sea level pressure for the Chart Type and click on 336 through to 384. It's not looking as good as it was, but it's not looking bad. This is basically the normal situation with a high over the Azores. What we want is for the high to move North East or (and there will be inevitable jokes if this happens) for a "finger" to push up from the Azores (see 336). If you click on precipitation, you'll see that there's none over SW England :)

Oh YEAH! I distinctly remember us all talking about getting a lovely warm fingering from the Azores on a past thread......you've gotta love a nice warm fingering let's face it!!

I can only get that for 24 hrs :(

Still, as long as pressure and precipitation look good, I'm happy :)

I don't even care about the sun. I went in the mid-1990s and it was too hot, so a dry festival with light cloud does me fine.

Having just caught up with the pages since I last posted I can honestly say I'm nothing short of disgusted at the abuse and name calling. If I or anybody else wants to come onto the weather thread and hope for anything but a hot festival then it's our right to do so without being called names.

So, I will come on this thread and post what the f**k i want, whether the majority of you like it or not. As for me being referred to as selfish, I think that goes for the people on here who have clearly stated they don't give a shit whether the sun makes somebody ill, they want scorching hot weather.

So to hell with the f**king lot of you and I hope to god we gets shit loads of cloud cover.

No I don't actually but it seems that anybody who has come on here wantaing anything but a heatwave has been shot down in flames. The people that have met me on here can vouch for the fact that I'm always up for banter and having a laugh.

People should be able to post what they wish without worrying they are going to be given grief over it.

Everyone keeps saying the weather is wet and cold, but down here in the southwest it very hummid and not really r**ning at all. There were some heavy downpour's yesterday and a few showers today but dry's up so quick

All i want at Glasto is SUN and nothing more, there aint much better than being at Glasto with the sun and a cold beer/cider.

    • We don't have any choice but I don't need a t-shirt for it! 🙂    On the bright side, it gets it out of the way for a nice 5 year run... notwithstanding wars, new contagious diseases and apocalypse.

    • Quick question. Rather enjoyed the Rhubarb Cider from the bars. I know Thatchers did the pump ciders but who made the Rhubarb Cider?
    • Top 5 acts of the weekend for me: 1. The Cure 2. my bloody valentine  3. caroline 4. Father John Misty 5. Big Thief   Biggest disappointments: - Slowdive (the mixing/sound just wasn’t right, and that was about 20 rows from the front of the stage) - The xx (also too quiet and marred by talkers who had no interest in the music)    Positives from an organisational sense: - extra water point at Mordor this year - handing out ponchos before the rain and ear plugs before mbv    However…two of the water points had ran out on Saturday evening, which is completely unacceptable when you stop people from bringing in large bottles of water, and charge €4.50 at the bars for a 330ml can
