I might be way off the mark here but if I was JACKONE, I'd appreciate it if people would link to my post rather than/as well as copying the text from it. I know it's possible to find the post if you know your way around the Netweather forums but it's much easier if you've got a direct link. I also expect that the link has been posted somewhere in this thread but it's getting kinda long now.

I guess I need to include the link in this post now: http://forum.netweather.tv/topic/62625-gla...ost__p__1826746

Oh, here we are again.

Question people - if Noah himself was resurrected and started building an ark in Brizzle the week before the festival, would it stop you going? If yes, f**k right off. If no, then meh, bring it on.

We'll all go regardless, so what's the issue?

Is there anything we can do about it?! No, of course there isn't. In the same way, there's nothing we can do about the lineup, there's nothing we can do for England's chances in the World Cup, there's nothing we can do to get the finale of Doctor Who on the big screens on the Saturday and there's nothing we can do to get russy to be polite to people.

Is it really the finale when we're there? Blast. I might have to stay home.

Grounds for optimism at the Met Office.

They're the only people not using the freely available GFS data, so just because there's 20 bad forecasts, they only really count as one because they're using the same source data.

Hats off to Accuweather. They're using GFS like everyone else, but somehow manage to extract a good forecast from it.

    • Muse will be about but the issue with Muse is that they’ll have the pick of doing IOW, BST, Glasto, R&L or big parks/stadiums.

    • Not sure what this means for 2027 but it looks like Holt Farm's website and email are both now inactive and unavailable.   It'll be a shame if they don't operate for 2027 as it was an excellent alternative to the other off-site offerings.   Fingers crossed they're just enjoying their downtime 🤞
    • Deftones, Blink, Muse?   Deftones as the next bump up makes all the sense, Blink as the "band that has never played before" and round out with Muse as its been a long time since they headlined and they have a new album coming which seems on the heavier side from the singles so far.   I could see Muse do their own tour to be fair, maybe MCR in their place? Could also see Deftones switched out for Slipknot/SOAD depending on who is about.
    • I have no issue with the Primavera crowd in most respects. They’re always friendly, respectful and no hint that there could be trouble at any point.   However…the talking is horrific here. The xx was pretty much ruined for me due to people having conversations with their mates the whole way through. Noticed it from all different nationalities across the weekend…English, Irish, Spanish etc. There seems to be no understanding of the nuances of when it’s okay to talk and when it isn’t. And obviously the sound being quiet at a lot of spots on the main stages exacerbates the issue. That alone has made me reconsider whether I will be coming back, it would probably take a lineup as good as this year (unlikely)
